Maybe not the place, but I need confirmation that I'm not getting senile and tilting at windmills. I've just seen a report on the Ukrainian offensive on the BBC's Six o'clock news. I may be losing my faculties, but I'm sure they were adamant that the offensive would fail and within a short time period. No positive opinion appeared to be offered.
Seemed a tad pessimistic but nothing shocks me anymore about that corrupt and patronising institution for which I am annually extorted to pay for its funding, without recourse.
I'd happily contribute towards a transfer of Broadcasting House to the Moscow suburbs. Their output quality reduces year by year, if not by the minute.

Maybe a Russian mole doing that slot - New Zealand Radio has just put one editor on leave pending an investigation...

I honestly think the last time I watched the BBC news without feeling I was being brainwashed was about 20 years ago. Simply cannot watch it now. Its only purpose is to tell those who cannot think for themselves what they should be thinking. Like many other outlets they need to learn that their main job is to report facts and not opinion.

I am not surprised their biased views extend to making extreme editorials the news.

In fairness the Ukraine policy of silence during WIP does not help.
Reminds me of City ignoring oil jibes and getting on with the real job of winning the treble.

The 10 o’clock news on the BBC was an absolute disgrace last night. Trotting out the lines that we shouldn’t be sending any more support to Ukraine and that a victory would mean them losing land to the Russians. Made some the programs on Russian state tv seem impartial.
