Since the Ukrainian offensive started, I've been struck by just how many BOTS have appeared. All come with Western names and photos, all come with masses of followers and fewer friends, and all appear across multiple threads with the same pro-Russian message. Even in those threads announcing events on the battleground that have turned against Russia, they're the dominant presence within hours.

It's about the amount of bots using Twatter to spread Russian disinformation and an attempt to stop it.
What Musk has done is simply to silence the large volume of unverified accounts that promote Ukrainian freedom that are not bots and does nothing to stop Russian bot farms that use large numbers of unverified accounts making a small number of tweets to spread their bile.
The major group that want this war over are the WEF (World Economic Forum). They want this war over as it disrupts their goal to make the rich richer and destroy the middle classes.They dont want to share their riches (the social contract that won the West the cold war). They are quite happy for Russia to keep their current gains and hence have some sort of victory. Democracy is simply not important for them - in fact they are circumventing it at every opportunity.
