Russian invasion of Ukraine

I don't know if it's being said in British media in detail yet, but ahead of NATO Madrid meeting, there came a detailed backroom debrief in our media about how insanely badly most of the NATO - especially European countries have done so far to make sure the defense plans for the Eastern Wings would actually be in works. And the ammunition production is still barely doing anything, although it was reported months ago how empty the European warehouses are.

So much work to be done still and most Western European countries are just dithering around.

I loved the Daily Sport take on Putin dying this week while having an OnlyFans tryst.
if it was true, which is highly unlikely, it would be on a par with the plot of the Colin Forbes novel "The Leader and the Damned"
(Cracking book BTW
- Hitler dies in a plane crash bomb in Ukraine in 1943
- Boreman puts a body double in power controlled by him.
- A Britsh spy finds out and trys to escape to Allied controlled areas via Yugoslavia.
- Martin Boreman is actually a Russian Spy who returns to Russia at the war and is executed by Joseph Stalin!
).

Long thread on the visually confirmed russian vehicle loses attacking Avdiivka. 197 vehicles lost here alone in the last month, apparently the most costly fighting of the whole invasion. Absolutely catastrophic for them.
