Russian invasion of Ukraine

We have a democratically elected government, we chose not to deal with Russia and sort an alternative.
I suggest you and your country should should do the same.
And how do you think the people would have a different opinion if our mainstream media report in favour of Russian views and their security concerns. Our External Affairs Minister S.Jaishanker gets questioned by this all the time from Western journalists, but he skillfully uses a lot of whataboutery and defends his position well, and is among the most adored in the cabinet. He is the one who came up with the infamous "Somewhere Europe has to grow out of the mindset that Europe’s problems are the world’s problems but the world’s problems are not Europe’s problems." These sound bytes are well received by an increasingly nationalistic audience.

It's easy for you to criticize Russia, with you being on the side of NATO, the bit of historical rivalry, the assassinations and the anti-British voices from Russia. None of this applies to India, in fact it's the opposite. So, it takes a lot of convicing to change opinion. It's akin to the US or England changing their policy on Israel. 9 months into the war Piers Morgan is still asking Israeli criticizers about October 7th. Your PM, Sunak was wishing Netanyahu victory on his genocidal campaign. That's your media and the government. National interests comes first for everyone.

Ok. Withdraw all your troops from all regions and Ukraine will agree not to join NATO. However, should you put one uninvited step again into Ukraine, immediate NATO membership will be granted.
Sounds fair enough to me and any sane person but but! Peskov lies. He does not appear to recognise that taking Ukraine Crimea 2014 means they are butting up against NATO border and we can’t allow that he’s greedy he could have stopped at Crimea.

France, Germany, Italy, Poland to develop new long-range cruise missiles. France, Germany, Italy, and Poland announced on July 11 that they have agreed to develop ground-launched cruise missiles with a range exceeding 500 kilometers (around 310 miles), Reuters reported

And not forgetting that the invasion of Ukraine is the reason Sweden and Finland are NATO members, so the NATO border is now hundreds of miles longer

For those who can’t play the video it’s a NATO advert, about strengthening ties between Australia, Japan, New Zealand and South Korea, they share our values in a rules based society and support a rules based international order, all our supporting Ukraine.
