Ukraine claims it has foiled an assassination attempt against the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Officials said a unit of Chechen special forces - known as Kadyrovites - were involved in the scheme and had been "eliminated".

Ukrainian security chief Oleksiy Danilo said: "We are well aware of the special operation that was to take place directly by the Kadyrovites to eliminate our president."

Mr Danilo said Ukraine had been tipped off about the plot by members of Russia's Federal Security Service

My money is on old Vlad being turned in sooner rather than later, or his exact location found out and Russian Special Forces grab the ****.
