I've deleted it, the British Army won't be doing conscription at any point. His first post was about nuclear war (also deleted).

I've no idea if a bot or not, but lots of different IP addresses from the same country (not russia). Does seem to post on City matters, so I'll leave him to carry that on for now.

No idea what was said but the army chief certainly said the Uk should look at training the public. He said it back in January.

But he wasn’t talking conscription, he was talking about training a volunteer force.

It was a version of that comment, from a former army chief, training the public is one thing, there won't be any conscription.

But he wasn’t talking conscription, he was talking about training a volunteer force.

It was the CGS letting people know that we all have to pull together because the Army wasn’t big enough to cover everything going on.
