It’s bonkers their complete 180 degree turnaround with a new president. Where it was being handled a few months ago by competent operators like Anthony Blinken, we now have populist head bangers calling the shots. I wonder what the generation of Americans who lived through the Cold War and especially events like the Cuban missile crisis think of this administration cuddling the Kremlin? It’s not about doing the right thing it’s making a fast buck, the tariffs and trade war Trump is sparking is another example of him causing instability for him and his mates to make money of uncertainty. Fuck the little people who get stepped on because of it.

Says to me that Musk needs these minerals for Tesla or Spacex or similar and has been pushing for them and we know who we think is controlling the White House.

Europe need to get behind Ukraine now and leave the US out of it.

It was one of the first things i thought of when trump called Zelensky a dictator.
He wanted a response from Zelensky so he could use that as an excuse to cut them off.

Zelensky was smart and only said he thought Trump was being fed lies.
Even then Trump henchmen responded by telling Zelensky to "tone it down". After what trump said, Zelensky's reply was very diplomatic.
I bet Trump was seething he didn't get the expected reply.

We know what is happening now.
There is no dealing with Trump. There is no hope that he will be moderate/sensible.
Europe needs to circle the wagons and not wait until he does more. We need to at least talk about war type economies ourselves. The first thing to do is give the Ukraine seized Russia assets.

This isn't an over reaction. If Russia is allowed to rebuild, they will be an even bigger threat than ever.
Through this war, they have still been able to sabotage undersea cables. They want us to know that the new NATO members are being threatened. America needs ejecting from NATO. Before somebody says that is stupid, it isn't. At the moment, i don't believe there is a NATO American wise. Call it what you want, but we need a new security alliance.

America needs to be told that we cannot have relations with the current administration.
Trump, not America is a threat to our security. The sooner we do something about it, the better.

The European leaders must know how bad the economic situation is in Russia. If it is as bad as we assume it is, surely we go for the jugular?

It makes absolutely no sense for Europe to capitulate to Trump now.
If we roll over now, it will not be Russian coming for the UK's liberties, it will be Trump.

I find it hard to believe that the American people will support Trump, in being hostile towards Europe. While at the same time supporting Russia. The optics on that are bad for Trump. Not sure the Americans will stomach going from the land of the free, to Russian bitches.

The total silence from China is interesting.
