My friends are giving me so much crap for the reported salaries on this guy. If we are really going to give him so much as the media says we will, won't it completely contradict our new salary system of low basic salaries with high bonusses?

Tell them that if they are right we will fail FFP, but if we pass FFP who fuckin cares what he is on.

Isn't Italian football skint? I somehow can't see Napoli paying him anything like City's offer. In fact, I can't see Napoli paying him anything like Arsenal's offer.

Remember Italy is the land of public squalor and private affluence - there's plenty of money in Italy but few admit to having any... Usually to avoid paying tax etc... Only a minority of businesses in somewhere like Napoli are actually registered most try (and do) exist under the radar.
