Samir Nasri .. Ouch!!

Do you realize how many Arsenal fans are out there? More fans sung Nasri's name and wore shirts with his name on the back than boo'ed him.

It's the nature of the game and the emotions people invest in it. Love can turn to hate just like that. If the situations were reversed, would there be no section of City fans booing?

No there wouldn't.

Ex players have almost always been treated with respect by city fans, (Dunne, SWP spring to mind but there's many other examples).

The only recent ones who get any sort of stick are Distin for refusing to be sold despite us being in the shit (and then ending up at Everton...) and Sir Joseph of Barton, for being a complete knobend.

anyone watch the tunnel cam of the QPR game???
Cuz um, clichy and Samir were definitely the most excited of ALL. Clichy was going BALSTIC!! same as Dzeko.
But at one point CLichy and Samir give each other a Gogantic HUG>>> u know what they were thinking. ..
Imagine this: "samir: dude we did it!!"
Gael: "yea mate, the arsenal fans were wrong!! they thought we couldn't do it"
Samir: "best decision ever to leave the Gunners man, never felt zoo good in my life!!"

Yea, that probably what they were say/thinking

Arsharvin23 has been quite reasonable, so let's not pile on him. I can completely understand why he'd want to move on and I think it's best for everyone, including Samir, to move on and forget. Mist be a huge weight off his shoulders.

'If you don't want to get hounded just sit quietly in your corner' great logic. No class.

I hope everyone just moves on from this.

I bet you do. Arsenal fans giving him a load of shit for wanting to move on and better himself, then when he actually wins the league and proves you all wrong you don't want to know! YCMIU!

Give him shit now and he'll show you his winners medal.

Same with Barry. He got a load of abuse for joining us not Liverpool - how's that one turned out for you Gareth?

The likes of Liverpool and United need to realise that banging on about history is great apart from that players will only win things based on the future.
