Works hard???? When he's a lazy git. Zab's form has been great with Milner in front of him because he isn't playing two men all the time.

Re: Nasri

Still believe he could be a top player for us, he has shown in flashes that he can be as good as most of the league's playmakers but his motivation levels seem really poor most of the time. Ribery said the other day that he thinks Nasri is low on confidence. His performance yesterday was truly weak and he and Silva play well together about 1 game out of every 10.

Watching El Clasico tonight made me think again how slow our build-up play is and Nasri, whether by instruction or not, is a culprit. If he isn't going to become a strong presence in this system we play then ultimately he's going to have to be sold. If we want to be a top European team our playmakers need to deliver frequently like Silva does, but we rely too much on Silva. For all Nasri's ability to retain the ball and complete his passes his productivity is too low. Hazard, Mata, and Oscar all have better goals + assists records than him for a (at the moment) worse team than us.

For all Silva's greatness he needs a companion who can chip in with more goals (Silva isn't very good at shooting and yet still has more than Nasri) and who offers more of a direct approach for variety/something different, and Nasri isn't offering that. And yet if you watched him in his final season with Arsenal his goal record was really good, 15 in all competitions. He has scored 9 in nearly two seasons for us so far. It's just not enough, he's a passenger in too many games and the very best teams don't allow passengers. If he could play as he did against Newcastle (before his injury) every game he wouldn't be.
