Re: Nasri
At least some sensible people still exist. Some people just blatantly disregard Nasri as doing anything worthwhile whatsoever which is so confusing to me, because we so CLEARLY play better and are more organized and functional with him on the field.
I didn't think he was phenomenal last game or anything, but he is the only player with a lot of technical ability on our team that is willing to play a particular role. He stays in position away from the other 3 to keep things open. When he gets the ball he always looks for the pass with the most purpose, either the one that will keep us the ball or the one that will give the next player the most space.
Silva definitely creates more directly, but he also forces the ball and gives it away over and over again. Nasri has to compensate for that by being a smart, assured creative player. Why can't people see how much he helps us dominate possession, and how important that is in NOT conceding goals? Also, Nasri gets back WAY more than Silva, Tevez, or Aguero. Silva will give it away and then start walking back, and Nasri will run from flank to flank helping each fullback.
If you all saw him playing for another team you would see what we were missing without him.

Barry and Milner (both of whom I love) had horrible games. We didn't need two defensive mids. I think we would have been much better off bringing on Sinclair for one of them and Dzeko for Tevez.MSP said:Nasri is much better than people here think and that is why he is picked by Mancini almost always when he is available. He is ideal player for style of football Mancini wants, he barely ever lose the ball.
He wasn't at his best last night but we're still better team with him on the pitch than opposite.
I don't think he was woeful last night too, he is just a player who's one bad thing is going to be highlighted here each time and good stuff will be forgotten.
I remember people having a go on him in match day thread last night for one bad pass but nobody said nothing when he made fool of Taarabt and sent good cross in the box. There are few of such in our team who'll always get stick here.
