Santa Cruz

Santa Cruz will come good he only got about 35 mins football for us after been out for months :) Its nice to see that we can play to massive strikers up front with Adebayor and Santa Cruz that will cause problems in the air which is something we didnt have in years!

Colin bells first game for city was an absolute shocker.

So your point about petrov's being great means jack shit TBH.

Hughes knows this guy and knows how to bring in players capable of become legends, a few very short memories here maybe?

So if the many who said he didn't know his stuff, when he bought Belamy, would like to stand up, and by now there should be several thousand of you on your feet (me included), show some respect and give the guy at least a match or two before snarling like like a pack of dogs FFS.

Great post blue, I'm amazed RSC even 'has a thread' at this juncture.

I know he has not had much play, and I know he will improve but tonight he hardly broke out of walking pace. He is Frustrating. what do other people think??

Kin ell hes only played 30 mins in two matches ,give him a chance he will be class a draw away at villa a top 6 club is a great result a win would of been amazing ,did we really expect to win every game home and away ,the wins we need away are against the like s of wigan and stoke . Santa will score shit loads .

We needed more strength and height in our midfield when RSC was brought on. Personally i would have gone for Johnson but i have faith in MH, so im sure he had his reasons.

He's not up to speed and we have yet to see what he is capable of. He was not playing in his natural position ala:

Chris Samba = Centre Forward

However, needs must!

From Hughes post match interview;

“Manu was a bit rusty after his lay off and there were a few like that. Roque got a Craig Bellamy finger in his eye almost immediately and was struggling. Almost all the time he was out there he was working with one eye. Carlos Tevez is still coming up to speed. There were a few walking wounded out there. Kolo will have to have a scan on his heel, he has had a real bang on it and Pablo has, we think, tweaked his hamstring in the last minute of the game and the likelihood is that we could be missing him for couple of weeks.”

Bellamy took out one of theirs and Roque with that challenge!

:D

Indeed,

Graphical proof:

I thought he looked awful, and a touch like an elephant, but time heals all wounds and I have seen him make a couple of incisive runs in the two cameos he has played, just no one has passed to him. Also I've not seen a ball in the box since he's played, not like the ones to Adebayor anyway.
Let's hope the people who don't believe in Santa are proved wrong.

Just thought I would enlarge the bit that a few people just slated me for because it looks like you did not see it.

Therfore i dont need to be told in PM that im a "clueless rag" and that he has only played 10 mins. I know this, it is clearly stated at the start of my post. I was just asking what people thought of him tonight.

And no I was not one of the people who had a dig a Bellers,
