We aren't going to take Sahin on a loan deal, and he isn't good enough to get playing time at Real Madrid so I question how much he'd get with us. And Cazorla is just an inferior version of Nasri that scores marginally more frequently (but against inferior competition). Relax, we'll get some good players, but these two aren't for us.

Didn't RVP say he wanted to leave because Arsenal didn't look to have any intent to win things? With these signings it looks intent enough. If he stays they'll be scary.

Well imagine if for instance we were trying to sign Messi & Ronaldo but obviously, it would be very very difficult (an extreme example I know, but it may help you to get the picture seeing as you are astounded).

If we decided to stop Arsenal from signing Carzola & Sahin, then we would first have to give up on Ronaldo & Messi (as we wouldn't be signing all 4).

Therefore, people going on & on about random players they would like us to sign is just bollocks when Mancini is busy trying to sign the players he actually wants.

From what I've seen Cazorla is a two footed Iniesta (obviously not as good). He's every bit as good as Silva was in his Valencia days, admittedly Silva was younger and has improved at City. I am confident that he is better than Nasri and will out perform him if he signs.

Sahin would get games for City, no doubt what so ever. He wouldn't be a starter but he would play a lot. I think Madrid know how good he is which is why they won't include a buyout fee in any loan as they don't want another van der Vaart.

After saying this, I agree that you probably will sign more fitting players for your team but I doubt they will be better than these two, they'll just suit your system more.

I hope we get gervinho to replace Nasri who I think is actually better player

Carzola's a excellent player but not as good as Silva(Silva gets picked ahead of him for Spain.)

Think Cazorla is better than Nasri tbh.

The reason we are interested in Sahin is because of Jack's injury. If he was fit in pre-season we wouldnt have any interest.

I'm not arguing the fact that Silva is better, I said that Cazorla is at the same level as Silva was during his Valencia days. Silva has stepped up a gear at City, it remains to be seen if Cazorla will do the same.

Most of our fans believed Gervinho would score more than Nasri simply because he's more direct but I don't understand how anyone could believe he would be a better overall player, probably just due to bitterness that he left.

The Sahin loan deal is testimony to how far the Arsenal stock has slipped recently, apart from losing their better players they are now being used by bigger clubs as a suitable home for recuperating players.
