Schalke Travel Plans

Does anybody have two tickets in the second tier (£29 ones) that they would want to swap for two first tier tickets (£49 ones)

Not got tickets but a couple of us are still over there, flying in to Dortmund on Tuesday. Where's everyone gonna be heading for drinks on the Weds? can't decide on staying on Dortmund, Dusseldorf or Bochum?

Most City fans will be staying in Dusseldorf or Gelsenkirchen, but Bochum is one of the most underrated, under-the-radar hotspots in Germany.
I've stayed there 3 or 4 times, and the main drinking area, (Bermuda Triangle) is only 200 yards from the HBF.

This is where we're staying the day/night of the game as we heard it's lively with many bars to choose from. The night before the game we're staying in Dusseldorf so getting the best of both worlds, you can't beat a footy trip in Germany.

Yep,
Dusseldorf is brilliant, but a lot of English folk are unaware of Bochum, which in a strange way, makes it better, (especially at the weekend when it's heaving).

Basically, you come out of the main railway station and turn left, then after about 200 yards fork left.
This is the start of the Bermuda Triangle, which is essentially a block of bars, restaurants, and biergartens.
If you've got time, then it's only a couple of Metro stops direct to Bochum's Stadium, and a decent pub about 50 yards down the road.

Approximately how long does it take to get from Bochum to Schalke's ground, just trying to gauge drinking time before leaving for the ground, as you do? :-)

Any idea how easy it is getting back after the game, regular trams/trains etc....
