Scotland - Does anyone go?

The people are great, down to earth and friendly. It's a stunning place, the major cities have different characteristics. Glaswegians would give you their last pound, aberdonians are tight as fuck and a tad dour. All things being well I'll retire to Scotland.
 
Have you noticed every post says similar?
They all mention the countryside the views the scenery.
No one mentions the people.

to be fair you don't see that many people in the highlands, and those you do see are mostly not local :)
 
Going for the first time to Edinburgh in March. Also booked a cottage in September near the Moray Firth. Looking forward to both.

The people are the best in the whole wide world.
(Typed whilst my Glaswegian missus hovers over me with a scowl that says she’ll kick my head in if I say otherwise...)
