When most economist says Salmond is wrong im more entitled to listen them than a slimy politician little scotlander
He doesn't even have a plan for a currency 6 months of the vote, well he did until he was laughed off by everyone. All I can say is good luck if the vote is yes because the plan is fatally flawed.
Im not saying it couldn't work some way it just doesn't work Salmonds way

they have the backing of financial experts that have told them their plans will work...

I find it very amusing that if independence is gained, the likes of RBS and Standard Life will have to move their HQ's to England.

That amazing.

I don't suppose you know what standard life ACTUALLY said?

I shall enlighten you.

This is the best I can find unfortunately. I can't find the actual statement but this response explains their stance
<a class="postlink" href="http://wingsoverscotland.com/?s=Standard+life" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://wingsoverscotland.com/?s=Standard+life</a>

As youll see there is no one saying if you guys vote yes we will move out of the country.

And they are not saying they will definitely stay, either, according to that source.
What they have made is a disingenuous statement covering their tracks on both eventualities.
If you have more positive proof of their stance than this, then fair enough, but this is not it.

Thats about as enlightening as being buried 10 foot underground

the only reason the tories oppose an independent Scotland is the loss of the grouse shooting, it can't be over losing votes as there are none. It can't be over money as they insist london subsidises everywhere else, plus labour would be damaged. It can't be over oil because there are only dregs left [they keep saying] . Maybe they are worried it could start the snowball rolling with the regions prefering the Scottish version of democracy to the london version. Puzzling.

This is exactly my point. They do not say they are going to leave. I never said anything along the lines of they will definitely stay.

Can you guys understand the confusion we have up here.

The MSM say that standard life WILL leave if we vote yes, everybody gets into a flurry but in reality all they are saying is we are putting things in place Incase it goes tits up.

To be honest any company with as much public money in it that doesn't say they are prepared for bad things would lose a hell of a lot.

But surely you can see they did not say they are going to leave. Yet as I said the MSM state that is the case in their headlines. It's amazing honestly, the way things are twisted up here

The way I see it is that they will definitely leave. If they had no intention leaving, whatever the result, they would say so.

It will be like World War Z mate with them flinging their fried mars bar saturated bodies at the wall after a few weeks of standing on their own two feet.

LOL - It'll give the drunken under achievers something to do whilst Salmond forward sells all his oil to China for a handful of magic beans on the pound (or the groat whichever money they will be using)

How much did that cost?

I remember that stuff, it was always a lottery, a dish on the table and it would either blow your face off or have no effect at all.

Es picante?

Un poco

Well i'm off to New Zealand for up to 2 years, after that i might come back to South and Central America. I'll definitely go back again at some point though, brilliant country. Maybe once 'agua caliente' doesn't mean a 30 second lukewarm dribble and constant threat of electrocution.

LOL I spent £35 to buy a decent shower! I'll have to refit the 'dangerous' shower when I leave.

Anyway who are you voting for?

Luxury! There was times i would have paid £35 to use it.

In the referendum? Firmly on the fence at the moment, i think it's a great opportunity to create a better country for your average person to live in, rather than have everything geared towards making money for the few. But there's so many hurdles and so much change needed that i have absolutely no faith in the political establishment overcoming.

It will probably just make the rich richer on either side
