I liked AJ but if Mancini doesn't want to use him & he wants to leave, but Mancini does want Sinclair, then it doesn't matter what I think.

Have to agree that 8 Million seems low thought it was 10 Million but having said that the fuck witterery of our transfer negogiation this year anything could be true - AJ for 8 - Sinclair for 10 really really would not suprise me
AJ was sold for around £15m.
The numnber widely reported was 10 - not seen 15 - maybe 15 with add ons

Without knowing all the facts, it is conceivable that AJ was bought in on the word of Brian Marwood? And having had countless occasions to prove his worth, failed to meet the standards set by Mancini. This Sinclair lad looks alot more livelier and does track back in support. Only if you think Mancini is the sort of bloke who would accept stuff like that & that it was a pure coincidence that we happened to be playing Boro just before he was signed.
I'm sure if enough of you push that as the truth though, eventually the Star & The Mail will print it as fact.
