Was just going to suggest the same. Grab Mertens and if we still want Sinclair, buy him for peanuts in January or wait for a free in June.

"If Sinclair wont move this window I will have him back in the team."
They want 1-2m more of course and they feel they can get it easily.

If they get 7.5-8m instead of 5m for Sinclair they have this Michu guy simply free...

Mertens is a very good shout. He'd be another Belgian to add to the ranks.
What gets me all other clubs blabbering it all to the media when we go after a player! Its like look at us city want a player and we are not playing! Id tell the clubs to fuck off! Credit to Everton for keeping the Rodwell quite!
