Do city release these story's about a hitch at the last minute because it seems to me nearly every deal we do has one but manage to go through.

Not too bothered, I think we have better options than AJ already at the club.
Buying at the end of the window is typically cheaper when it comes to clubs desperate for get some money in for players that will be worth nothing in 12 months time. Always bargains to be had around the end of the window.
I'd prefer we got our business done early, but it's just not as simple as people are making out. There's other clubs involved and they have no interest in helping us get our squad ready by the start of August.
FWIW I still think this deal will go through but I think we will pay what they ask. It will all be "undisclosed" though, no doubt.

Along comes another one, you base that statement on what ?
I'd like an explanation as to how in the last week of the transfer window, selling our impact sub/only winger before trying to buy a replacement impact sub/winger is not incompetence in terms of negotiating with Swansea. I wonder whether Mancini thinks this has been handled well at this very moment.

I'm not flapping one bit. I don't expect Marwood to be able to sign anyone therefore I haven't got my hopes up like the rest of you. If he gets his P45 on 1 September when Soriano arrives then the club will be in a far stronger position in my view.
