Scott Sinclair

Its irrelevant what club he supports personally if he comes he will have a chance to prove himself which I'm sure he will rate more important than bein a rag lol

Time to make him see the light then. I am treating his comment about beating City as a compliment because any club in England will want to do that.

Firstly I can't say he is or is not better than AJ as I haven't really seen much of the lad TBF. So I'm not going to slag him off or Mancini for trying to sign him. What I would say is AJ hasn't improved since we signed him and at best is an impact player coming off the bench. He is very predictable but does give us something different.

What I think a lot of us are confused about is Sinclair is no Sanchez which is what all of us were hoping for. I also don't understand why we gave AJ an improved contract if we're getting rid of him. So I can't see Mancini selling him this window unless part of the deal for Agger.

Just to fan the flames Sinclair is a self confessed Man United supporter. They are his dream club to play for and the team he supports. Uh oh!
So does Alex Morgan and I would bang her sixteen ways into next Sunday. If he comes to do a job and does it, I have no complaints.

Me either! I knew someone was going to post it eventually so i thought i'd save them the trouble. I couldn't care less who a player supports as there's little chance of them having grown up City supporters.

He's not good enough for City. Simple as.

When Fulham were linked with him, I thought that could be a decent move for him. Will get plenty of game time under a good manager and amongst good players.

I'd prefer him to stay here if he signs his contract though.

Says everything. When a small club players are linked with big club, they usually talk about how they want so much money and he's worth that much. These guys dont seem to be bothered about him leaving and think he's not good enough. I also remember reading sunderland forum when henderson was linked with Liverpool and most wanted him sold for the money that was being talked about. Fans know their own players better than anyone

To be fair most of the posters on that Swansea site seem to be basing their "not good enough for City" opinion on the notion that we would be signing him to go into the first team as a regular starter which clearly wouldn't be the case. They seem to be under the same delusion as many City fans that we can have a squad of 30 top class players, all of equal ability with half of them rarely playing.

Good Premier League player, not good enough for us. Adam Johnson is very frustrating, but he's twice the player Sinclair is.

Lennon would be a good player for you guys but his price is £25mill.

We're still trying to find the money to sell Adebayor to you.

So you honestly think that we can now say that a "good Premier League player" is not good enough to be a squad player at City? Exactly what calibre of player do you expect us to have on the bench? We don't play with wingers regularly, so any winger we sign is going to be a squad player rather than a regular starter, but we need to still have wingers in the squad. Who do you think we should sign for that role?

Squad player should be able to compete for a place in the starting 11. i never get the idea that there has to be a set order. You have to have competition

Levy wouldn't sell Lennon, it would throw the Falcao move into doubt. I heard he and Lennon are bessie mates.

But seriously DTY, your act is getting old now.
