I dont agree dave i think were spoilt with the stadium and genuinely dont think theres a bad seat in the house....although the jurys out on the new front rows. However Ive sat at anfield many atime on the front row which is below pitch level and quite liked it...ill give the new seats a chance at some point and make me mind up.There's plenty of bad seats on the lower tier, fella. Three rows of even worse ones now.

I've sat in row K of the south stand and moved after two seasons as it was impossible to judge what was going on at the other end, I've been up in the second tier and the atmosphere was terrible, so ended up lower tier again. I'm now in the new third tier, so hopefully I'll be able to see what's going on and get a bit of atmosphere, although I'm under no illusions with that.
I'd say it's mostly speculation how season ticket sales are going really. Yes the club may have gone through the 10,000 they said they were going to but nobody knows except the club how many they have sold.
I don't agree with there being a bad seat really towards the front. Yes, you might struggle with seeing exactly what is going on down the other end of the pitch but people that were around us in 117 had been there for years and don't complain about it. Each to their own though.
I think the only thing the club did fuck up on was their wording of what would happen to those on the waiting list regarding the new 3rd tier. I don't think they expected as many people to relocate up there and then there would have been a sizeable amount of seats left up there for the new season card holders. However, people worrying about atmosphere up there? I don't think you should. I know quite a few people that have moved from SS and 110 up to these new seats for price so there are still quite a few singers up there.
People need to sit closer to the halfway line if they expect to get a good view of the game at both ends of the pitch! I knkw this is stating the obvious!!
It's true though. One of my mates sits on the 3rd tier in the East Stand because he loves the view of the pitch and seeing all the movement from the players. It kind of goes back to the 'matchday experience' that City always talk about. What do you prefer? Standing/singing or the view?
I thought I read that cup games the away fans will get all the 3rd tier and any extra go into the 2nd tier.Anyone know where the segregation line is drawn when the stadium is in 'cup mode'? 113, 114, 115 and the respective blocks behind them will provide the required ~6000 seats so does this mean that season ticket holders in the first few 'columns' of 116, 216 and 316 get shifted for cup games?
There will be bottles of piss raining down! Reminds me of my rag mate who came back from Goodison after a cup game in the 80s with the biggest padlock I've ever seen. He reckons some scouser lobbed it off the top teir from the main stand into the away section and it landed at his feet luckily enough!I thought I read that cup games the away fans will get all the 3rd tier and any extra go into the 2nd tier.
My Lads number has come up and not much availability in 119 with me but lots in 110 - is it a standing area (officially or not)?
Anyone else in there - what's it like?
