Quite a few today in 107 talking about moving so they can get season cards for their kids. Gonna be a shame next season, lots of new faces around me.

I've decided to move into this block from 102. What's it like in there? It's a bit further back than my current seat so hopefully I'll stay dry now.

Re: Season Card Reservation,New ST UPDATED TODAY 08/04.

The segregation netting in block 112 has been moved further across by 4 seats, meaning people in those 4 rows(top to bottom) have to relocate. Managed to find my partner and stepdaughter two seats together in 112. According to my partner most of the other people around her that have also been affected are moving to the new 3rd tier of the South stand.

Two of my mates who currently sit in the 3rd tier of the East stand have moved to the 3rd tier of the South stand. They saved in the region of £200 each. They seem very happy.

Plenty of "wet" people near me relocated.

Scurry along after them then

Me, my nephew and 3 mates have relocated from where we are. My mum and dad have relocated from where they are (great seats where they'd been since the stadium first opened).

No one's arsed. Me and my mates (and the other 5 that are meeting up with us in the 3rd tier) are buzzing in fact. Mum and dad were in some of the best seats in the house which are trebling in price for them I think (they're old bids), but I think they've saved some money and still got decent seats so don't seem fussed. They knew the price hikes were coming, as did everyone else

We've relocated to the back to tier 3 from 222. Glad that you and your mates are buzzing, but if the club told you that you'd have to pay double next year or find some single seats someplace else, you might not be, So all folks experience is different.

The talk around us was that there's now 3000+ seats that will cost £1250 or £1700 each. I'm not sure there will be the demand for them, and I hope the club haven't cocked this up by pricing loads of seats out of the market. The extra bars dont look like they have anything that the concourse bars hadn't previously offered, and it seems like the seats will be taken by corporates to offer to their clients (INCLUDING AWAY FANS) or tourists on package (buy hotel + ticket for £200) - not an area I'd like to sit in.

I am fussed about relocating - it's a shame not being with friends I've made, and despite the Fat el Hombre's view, the banter amongst folk at a match is all part of it, but the club seems to have outgrown us and they've decided to take back the seats we happen to sit in. Sure we had notice of improvements, and a price rise, but no-one seriously expected a 2x or even 3x rise.... If the seats were £900-1000, I don't think anyone would have batted an eyelid. But £1700 is a clear "get lost" call to those who are sitting there.

I'm moving from the East Stand Lower and I was on row BB right at the back.

I'd say anything from about P/Q/R backwards would be fine, but get to as close to the back as you can.

I think you're missing the point a little bit, Alex.

Firstly, i don't buy into all this I can't sit with my friends nonsense so I agree with you on that, if you want to sit together then stay or relocate together, as I have done. No problem with that.

It comes down to a matter of principle I think, and that means more to some than it does others, but that doesn't make them 'wet'.

This stems to the fact that we all chose our seats and have paid the premium since we moved to the stadium. We helped the club out by buying two years season tickets in one hit in the final year at Maine Road to help the club finance the move. Now, we're indirectly being forced out of those seats to accommodate people that can just throw more money at it. It doesn't sit well and it stinks, the fact we had two years notice isn't a justification either.

I wouldn't even have complained if they'd put our tickets up £200 for the sole reason that they are the best seats. Many would grumble but you can't please everyone and the world is full of busy fuckers that complain about fucking everything. However, it isn't £200, it's £400 (for me) and it's not because of the view, it's to accommodate people that want to sit on fucking sofa's like it's a starbucks and have plush concourse facilities. I don't want that, people I know don't want that, I'll go to starbucks if I want that, I just want to watch City in my seats I've had for years.

For me it's more about the reasons behind the increase than the actual increase (though not happy with that either admittedly) and that's why it doesn't sit well. I'm forced to stay and pay for other peoples fucking sofa's or move - and that stinks to high heaven and people are rightly miffed about it. Two years notice is irrelevant to the principle of it.
