What is the price of the seats in the first 3 rows of the new SS 3rd tier? Are they £299

Also how many on the waiting list will be able to get £299.seats.?. Is there supposedly 9,900 on the waiting list.

Price is £600 rows A to K

Rows L - W = £380

Rows X and beyond £299

Think a lad did a seat count and there was about 8 -900ish seats at £299 left.

No £380 seats left I hear.

The first 3 rows of the third tier are £600 as far as I know. The £299 are from row X up I think.

I can answer part of your question. Yes all row 3 seats in North, South and East are £299. There isn't any in the Colin Bell. Yesterday, there was availability in this new area in the South but the majority had gone. I presume this will simply end up as standing and or people will move back and double up in the seats. In the North and East there wasn't the same uptake and approx. 1000 remain unallocated now the relocation window has closed.

I can't tell you how many remain at the back of the new level 3 south stand as the online system won't let me look now. Obviously lots left towards the back so I'm going out on a limb now and will guess at a further 1000+ Of course if my guess is correct, that would leave 5000 new spots (less the Premium seats if you're not interested in these) to jump into. I'm a transient, I like to change each season really so it was really hard to finally choose yesterday as there was so many good seats available. I decided on 106 in the end cos I always like the fact they have a telly as you move from the concourse to the seats. No idea why but I remember thinking this season after a nose around that I thought it looked posh!

I hope that helps and everyone gets a seat.

I bought in the back of the new stand for £299, the lower seats toward the front were coming up at £500 when I checked the system

With the new capacity of 55,000, I'm guessing there will be an increase in availability of season tickets from 36,000 to around 41,500 maintaining the existing proportion of ST holders. This means there will be an extra 5,500 tickets roughly. At present there are about 9,500 on the waiting list however I reckon a fair proportion will be after £299 or £380 tickets of which there will only be a couple of thousand available. This suggests that quite a lot on the list won't be taking up their season tickets. I don't know how many existing season ticket holders typically don't renew but let's say about 1,000 making total additional availability around 6,500, I'm therefore guessing that nearly everyone who's prepared to pay £500/600+ for a ST on the waiting list will get one. Does this make sense?

Its interesting to be considered a Newbie when i've supported the club since I was 7 (40+) years and was a Kippax season ticket holder for over 15 years and spent my formative years on the kippax wall on the half way line. I went 2 seasons not missing a game home or away including York lol. Increasing work committments saw me attending less than half the home games (sometimes less) so it no longer made any financial sense to keep my ticket despite the fact I gave it to friends and family gratis when I couldn't attend. However those same committments are a lot less these days so I can re-take my rightful place. I signed up in Sep 13 and am 2200 or something on the list. I thought there might be a large natural wasteage and may even be in with a shout for one beginning of this year so was surprised when persons claiming to be No 44 and some even less on the list on this thread claimed to be still waiting. I never wanted a 299 ticket as my peepers aren't what they were and I prefer level 1 (although level 2 is a great view as well). Level 3 doesn't do it for me and I've experienced both sides L3 views, watched the derby game from CB L3 for 71 quid (viagogo price). Despite this I would have gone for SS L3 first couple of rows but they've been snapped up. I opted for the 450-600 level tickets as part of the application process so am hoping for somewhere in the singing section. Tbh those others on the list I have spoken to are in the same boat and none of us expected a cheap seat to be available by the time the offer of a SC came to us. Although this isn't a large enough sample of folk to be considered as representative. I've spent over 800 notes this year on matchday tickets so the current ST prices don't put me off (apart from the L2 Premium prices). I understand the grievances of those people forced to move away from views and friends they've had for years but sympathise with the clubs position regarding matchday revenue and the need to drastically increase it to compete with the other big hitters in this League. I don't see a fairer approach than the one taken. Some will always say it's a drop in the ocean when compared to the TV money etc but millions of pounds extra revenue is what it is. The club may take a different view if and when FFP gets its rightful comeuppance - the break even part at least! I do hope all the spare SC tickets go and the extra peeps can get the atmosphere going it would be great to hear the SS as one voice rocking the place! I'll be doing my best as a newbie to make sure it happens.

We maybe need a couple of more accurate "bies" to reflect the demographic of the new SC holders:

"PEARCEBIES" - 40+ years of age, who gave up on a SC when Stuart Pearce ruined the enjoyment
"MAINEROADBIES" - 30-60+ years of age who gave up on a SC when we moved to Eastlands
"MIDDLESBROUGH8-1BIES" - 30-50+ the clues in the title
"HADKIDSBIES" - 25-40+ wife stopped 'em going due to pressure on household income
"MOVEDAWAYBIES" - 18-60+ every home games an away match for me
"YOUGOTOONEMOREMATCHANDOURMARRIAGEISOVERBIES" - 18-75+ given up for personal safety reasons

I'm a mixture of 3 of them and Stuart Pearce certainly didn't help, but I'll be back on the bus next season and cant fucking wait.

The additional SC's will give a generation of lifelong "lapsed" blues the chance to re-engage with the club and the everyone will be better off for it.

I, for one, cannot thank the club enough for giving me this opportunity, just gotta tell the mrs now..

My dad is around number 2400 on the waiting list along with my eight yr old nephew. Any idea if he will be able to get in the family stand for this season ?

I don't think he'll have a problem if he's happy to be in the front 10 or so rows of level 1. Behind that it's mostly odd single seats available.

I'm afraid this isn't correct at all.

There are no £299 seats in the East or North Stand anywhere. The only £299 seats are in the new stand from rows X-SS. That's it for £299 tickets.

All the pricing is in here

Nope they are £600 and there was only the odd single seat left in first 5 rows! Then through the middle of the stand all the £380 ones have sold. Plenty of £299 at the back.
