Season ticket payments - refunds/credits due by June 19th

You will probably get a choice of your 2 options
I don't think they can do anything else, its a bit like a plane ticket, airlines would love you to take the credit but they have to offer cash payment too. Personally I think the club will look to sweeten the deal for the credit option, but right now who thinks next season won't be impacted too? For my money if we get 6 home games next season I will be happy, will I renew my season ticket for that..... I really don't know, I'm kind of on the fence, if the club play this poorly I think they will lose a huge chunk of their base support

I just hope one of the options isnt that if you ask for a refund for this season then you lose your ST for next season. Personally I’d like the refund as it would be nearly £600 for 4 tickets.

I just don't understand who in there right mind would pay for a behind closed doors season ticket, I couldn't think of anything worse.

Soulless behind closed doors with football players celebrating to empty seats.

I'll 100% go back to Etihad and all the away games I can get to but never will I pay money to watch behind closed doors football.

Pretty sure the consumer rights act wouldn't allow them to do that, the club have broken our basic statutory rights that include Satisfactory quality, As described, Fit for purpose, and there is a length of time requirement.. so the product isn't as described(we are 1/3rd of a season short! and they couldn't mitigate it by showing the games free on ManCity TV to season card holders and they can't say your six games are credited for the 2021/22 season(for example)without your agreement due to the time requirement (an example of this would be if you got a builder to put double glazing in your home, he could do nothing wrong other than not put them in in a reasonable time and he has broken your statutory rights) and they can't penalize you for exercising your rights. For what it's worth I don't believe they can throw people out of the cup scheme for asking for a refund.... but I guess someone has to challenge them on that

This depends

If games are played behind closed doors next season and they create a virtual season ticket then clubs could still make money.

I could buy a season ticket for all 38 league games City play.

The price will be interesting

a virtual season ticket would be ridiculous

football being one of the first sports coming back and then you tell the general public they have to pay for it..... preventing millions of people from watching it.

One of the main reasons for trying to get it back was to boost the countries morale. Waste of time if most people couldn’t watch it

Lots of people on her say they won’t renew regardless. Good luck to them. I go to City because I enjoy going. If I can still afford to go next season or whenever football returns I will do.

It’s probably about time that many Blues who have lost interest in going to the match hang up their season cards and make space for others to take their place. That might mean our crowds go down for a few years but that may well be the reality of Premier League football after this pandemic.

IMHO the best way forward is.....

Refund 6/19 to current season ticket holders.

No season tickets for 2020/21 season. Any matches that can be staged to be ticketed as one off events. This allows an appropriate (and possibly increasing) attendance.

All 2019/20 season ticket holders to be invited to purchase 2021/22 Season tickets if by then it is possible. If still not possible then continue to ticket as one off events.

It's quite simple really isn't it.

The only worry for the club would be the lack of connection between fans & club for 12+ months and the fall off of fans.
