Just to many greedy fuckers and toys thrown out of prams when they cant get their own way.

Or people exercising their right to decide whether the product the club is offering is worth them paying a lot of money for. Like you, I don't have sympathy for them, everyone will make their decision based on what suits them. But unlike you, I don't feel the need to criticise them for their choices.

So because you wont put "pen to paper" and criticise them publicly, you agree with me in principal.Don`t lets get mixed up,with feeling sympathy for those people who cannot afford,as opposed to the few who complain about the Club not doing enough/loyalty.
So just to reiterate, you agree with me and don`t have sympathy, but wont upset them by going public.Ah well it takes all sorts.

When we were playing at Maine Road my sister my brother and myself were constantly shifted between the North Stand and the Platt Lane Stand, as the club decide to move the away supporters. When we moved here, Once again we were moved to make the South stand for families, and when you look their are more adults there then children. Please don't get me wrong I am all for keeping families together, but the way they have done it is all wrong. So with the new developments coming along once again I will be forced to move because I will not be able to afford the ticket. I am not interested in all this sitting at tables eating food, etc, I just want to come along and watch a game of football and when the game is over go home.

I am not willing to pay over the top prices for food which is not much better then what you can buy from any fish and chip shop at nearly half the cost. Increase the capacity by all means but keep the prices about where they are, because if they go up much further I will be struggling to afford a season ticket

I don't know where you get the idea that you and I are on the same page on this.

People who will give up their season ticket because of the move have every right to do so. It's a decision every supporter in CB2 and ES2 will have to make, some will stay, some will move and some will leave. Those that choose to leave are not mard arses, the simple fact is that the club haven't been able to provide an option that justifies people spending the sort of money they are asked to spend.

I don't feel sympathy as everyone will make the decision that best suits them. For me, if I leave it will be because staying at home and watching on the TV is a better option for me than what the club can offer for the price it can offer.

That might make me a mard arse in your eyes, or a bad supporter but I don't really care about that. I have no need to prove myself in anyones eyes.

If you don`t want to move, because of anything different than a financial burden, then you claim you have no sympathy either,so therefore on that issue you agree with me,your words not mine, from an earlier post.
My main gripe is people complaining that the Club are doing nothing and loyalty counts for jack shit. How many fans can they afford to "help" ? They aint a Charity and how many fans could they possibly "keep together" in areas where they have sat together before.
Fuck me I go to watch a game of footie first and foremost and couldn`t give a flying thingy about socialising.I thought we had already established that L2 ST Holders were told some 2+ years ago that the Club were looking at "upgrading" this seating plan,so it should come as no shock.

You probably think it is full of adults because you are looking at the wrong stand.

I don't want or expecct sympathy. I don't think I, or anyone else making the same decision are mard arses for making that decision based on whats right for them. You think anyone who leaves for non financial decisions is a mard arse, so clearly we're not on the same page.

Loyalty doesn't count for anything, you can see it in just about every decision the club makes. Every football club is the same, but I reckon football as an industry doesn't give a toss about supporters.

So the changes don't effect you, so in your words fuck everyone else.

The changes don't come as a shock to me, although we were warned of price rises and the cost of my seat has risen by £200 + in the past two/three years. Receiving prior notification of what you consider a bad decision doesn't make it a good decision.

I am very interested to see if these new corporate areas will get priority for cup final and away tickets though, you'd think they might at those prices. Wonder if any of the "I'm alright jack" brigade will have second thoughts if they start being affected by the changes.

very very good point that - an additional 6000 corporate clients with guaranteed priority for away tickets. -

I pay what I can afford,so its not a case of I`m alright jack. However I would never dream of moving to be near A.N.Other,but some people want the best of both worlds, cheap seats and sit with the same people. The club will ultimately help as many as they can,but for the same shit (not by you) to kept being spouted "loyalty" is just a poor excuse.

-- Mon Nov 04, 2013 5:23 pm --

No, I think it's more a case of people wanting no more than what they already have, and which they are about to be denied through a decision of the club (no matter how well intentioned, and I do believe it is well intentioned). I will add it's also what people already had when things weren't so great and these wonderful loyal new corporate supporters were nowhere to be seen.

In the words of Sheikh Mansour "We are very aware that without you there would not be a club to buy, and your voice will be heard by the organisation at the highest level.".

It's an interesting one this. I am sure the next step will be a seat that guarantees you all cup matches' and guaranteed final tickets whatever your points total. They may extend this to away tickets too, leaving less away tickets for those with points and guarantee that more people will remain/go platinum.
