Season Ticket Pricing as a result of Stadium Expansion

Well that's not the news the club will want to hear....maybe making away fans give up tier 2 might partially solve that problem.

Same around me: none of the regulars are staying and two said they were thinking about giving up their ST.

and same again near me. I think if supporters in El2 can get moved to what they consider a good enough seat, certainly not in the gods of Tier 3 then they will strongly consider moving however if the moving option isnt suitable, many seem to feel its time to stop.

to some degree i agree with this. Football prices have been going up over the odds for too long. because of the improvements and the success we have had, you tend to feel you can still justify it and if you can still afford it then you do. when something changes, like a move to an inferior seat ... its harder to justify and easier to spend the money elsewhere

Give up going?

Sounds like a smacked arse reaction. If you can afford to sit there now then you can afford to sit anywhere else in the ground.

Don't get attached to a plastic seat or a certain view. There's far more serious things in life to worry about!

Yep. It's my ball and I'm taking it home!

I empathise, because I felt pretty much the same way when I was a Level two'er

I will never give up going unless I can't afford it anymore which I actually think will come when I am retired (as it will for many in future years with the shit pensions everyone has nowadays).

I will be having a sniff at one of these cheap seats in tier 3 new stand. Will save me £150- £450 depending on where I get.

Glad to be getting first choice though. Should make the experience less troublesome than a free for all would have done.....

It's not a matter of affordability. If it was most of us wouldn't be paying the £700 a ticket we currently do. The same ticket cost around £500 a few years ago.

My informal survey got a similar response to those above.

and dull the atmosphere - away fans in the stratosphere or at the side of the pitch makes it dull for me, and as an away fan at OT, Barcode/Wonga/SportsDirect.com arena, Villa it ruins it

L2 in the away area has tended to be home fans this season anyway. Presuming they are single match tickets so there might be scope for "movers".

That's where we differ. I don't care about that anymore. Wouldn't really bother me if no away fans showed up nowadays.
