Give up going?

Sounds like a smacked arse reaction. If you can afford to sit there now then you can afford to sit anywhere else in the ground.

Don't get attached to a plastic seat or a certain view. There's far more serious things in life to worry about!
It's not about the money or even the seat always , these people are the Kippax(EL2) lads and lassies who have sat or stood together and become friends over decades. A lot of the feedback was the lack of loyalty shown to them by the club and they have had enough .

Appears to be the general consensus. Thanks for your support in the tough times, but tough shit.

I`m talking about the mard arses who want to give up their ST because if they have to move, they may not be able to sit with x,y and z.Very childish.
Not talking about the people who may not be able to afford another seat. They have my deepest sympathy.

No its not a smacked arse reaction at all.
I can fully understand how these guys feel. When we were moved from Maine Road
we all got split up and we had been sat together for decades. I have sat with the same crowd now in CB L1 since the Etihad opened
and its a great bunch of guys. We regularly lend each other our tickets if we can't make the game for any reason and have
a pint together and a good old chin wag. We sit just in front of the press box and there was some rumours sometime ago that our seats were being moved to accomodate and expanded media area. If that happened I would seriously think about jacking it in as would others who sit
within the group. The people you sit with gets more important as you get older - don't know why it just does. Its an important
consideration that the club need to be aware of and not under estimate.

Like I said, thanks for your support in the hard times but tough shit. Shame a lot of our supporters seem to have developed the same attitude towards their fellow supporters.

If someone feels that the product offered by the club is not worth the money they are being asked to pay I'd say they are being sensible to consider their options. And for me at least, where you sit and who you sit with is an important part of the product offered by the club.

If, as it reads, the "sports bar area" is behind the N or S stands and you'd need to walk across the normal concourse to access it, there is the option to the club to leave the tkts a similar price and give the option to pay extra for access to the bar areas if people want it - this could give people in most parts of the stadium the option to stay where they sit, but if they want to they could stump up an extra £500 a season for the bars? It is really the bar that warrants the extra money, not the match seat.
Anyone put this forward to the club?

And I think you`ll find that also added was the above.Something which was omitted to suit the previous posters views.
And I still stand by what I said.Any fucker who basically wants to cut his nose of to spite his face gets NO fucking sympathy from me.
Fuck me giving up a ST because you cant sit next to some fucker. Its fuck all down to loyalty mate, the Club are helping as best they can.Just to many greedy fuckers and toys thrown out of prams when they cant get their own way.
I`ve also been watching the lads for near on 49 years,so don`t preach to me about loyalty.

Or people exercising their right to decide whether the product the club is offering is worth them paying a lot of money for. Like you, I don't have sympathy for them, everyone will make their decision based on what suits them. But unlike you, I don't feel the need to criticise them for their choices.
