The wifi facility will be there, bands outside etc etc etc.
We have won the title, cups, beat the shit in the derby etc etc
We've got New York city as our second club.
All superb stuff it's impossible to disagree.!!!
But here's the thing..... I will not pay 1k to watch football end of story. + travel+ beers etc
Football used to be a hobby that cost a few quid ,it's now turned into an event 20 times a season that is akin to going to a stadium music gig event .where fans are" monetized " to squeeze every penny out of them.
Things are changing and times are changing that much is clear, we have City fans slagging other city fans because they don't earn enough to go to matches....( sounds like arrogant scum fans to me tbh).
My ticket will go to some corporate or " tourist" and I'm sure they will not improve the atmosphere.
.
Four years ago, we were informed about the changes that were going to take place on L2
My Seasoncard at that time was in block 205, right next to the corporates and I knew that the cost of the seat in that area was going to triple, so I took the decision then to relocate
Why don't you do the same, or do you believe that for £600 you should have the best seat in the house?
Why do you rant about the football being an event, then complain about the fact you buy beers?
If it's just about the football, buy a lower priced season card and don't drink

You have a good point there I sit in east stand 3rd tier my season ticket was 680 on platinum I have the Opportunity now of moving to a cheaper area but I love the view and the perspective you get on the game, if it goes up to £1000 in the next 3 years I want be renewing! It's a quandary hopefully the other 2 stands will be in the pipeline to be extended by the time the price is out of my price..

If City introduced a rolling monthly contract for attending football, for example £50 per month gets you in to league games for 10 months,£60 gets you the Capital Cup games,£70 adds the Champs league games,in that particular month, surely this system would make it more accessible and more flexible to both fans and the Club.If you cannot afford the £50 for 1 month, then just cancel the direct debit and your access is denied and another supporter can buy that seat for the month.I find the whole process of points, etc is over emphasized and for most league games the ground is full, with the expansion in mind this system may work better. With the technology in place now,all this could be set up quite easily.Another benefit for the club is revenue streams are spread out over a 10 month period, and importantly for the club is they are probably accessing the missing thousands including me,with a more tempting offer, hmm what do I spend my £50-70 on,Sky or watching City.I know its over simplifying things but the club has to get people away from their TV sets and realise once old fans step back inside the stadium, there really is nothing like being there live.

I think this DD scheme has some legs. I hope the club is watching this thread.willy eckerslike said:WEMBLEY76 said:.If you cannot afford the £50 for 1 month, then just cancel the direct debit and your access is denied and another supporter can buy that seat for the month.
Not sure this would work well, but the monthly payment option would make it easier for people to budget.
When the quarterly payment option came in this year, I calculated the total cost of my seats and came up with a monthly cost, £85 for me, to cover the 4 payments. I then set up a direct debit to move cash from my current account to a savings account and when the official DD comes along I just move what I need back in. Now that I am used to the money going out each month, I'm hoping to continue after the final payment to go towards next season. Maybe the club should invite fans to buy their next season's tickets in February on a monthly DD scheme.
