Season Tickets - 2023/24

I may be wrong but haven’t Liverpool had season ticket prices frozen for the last 4 seasons.
Thousands of their tickets are resold by touts at a few times face value or more. The real cost of tickets for Liverpool fans is exorbitant

Bottom line is we could well be watching the best football team on the planet. When that happens things change. We can gripe all we want, but if we don't go, there will be two or three people to take our place. Its the price of success. And in comparison to other clubs our prices are good.

Think Liverpool have actually just ended a lengthy price freeze with a slight increase, whilst United have frozen for about a decade. Ours keep going up though, despite greater revenues than them.

Look at our facilities compared to the state of old Trafford?? The upkeep of our stadium has been immense Ric and it all costs. The club are about to invest £300 million in a new stand. Wages of match day staff will be up, police costs etc. inflation this year is circa 9 percent, the rises are lower than the cost of inflation. I maintain the reaction is over the top and not balanced. I feel for anyone struggling but I don’t feel we are being ripped off at all.

Not sure about that, we still have a sizeable working class element in our match going support. Either way, it doesn’t mean we should just accept further increases every year.
What do you class as working class support and how do you know that? And if youre not going to accept it what are you/we going to do about it?

I don't understand how people think we can have the best of everything without paying extra. They're happy to have 5 star luxury but want hostel prices.

We are watching THE best football team on the planet right now but nothing lasts forever.

Then what? If we slip back to mediocrity,(it can happen) where will we be then?

The bandwagon jumpers who are currently occupying our empty seats, were will they be if(or when) our shit hits the fan?

They'll be nowhere to be seen because they only show when things are going good, fact!

If that was to happen then it won't be the end of the(our) world because we've been there before and we'll be there again with another 35k+ loyal fans turning up because they love City.

But one thing is for sure, and that is our owners will not be able to take the piss and charge us what they think we'll pay. No, it will have to be priced accordingly because without City's hardcore fan base the club is nothing!

Our latest accounts reported revenues of £613m, and a profit of £41.7m. Was it really necessary to squeeze an extra couple of million out of ordinary fans during a cost of living crisis?
