Season Tickets - 2023/24

We still have some of the cheapest season tickets in the PL, to watch the best team. I think someone posted some of the tickets in SS3 are about £20 - £23 per game. Lower division teams charge more than this.

Compared to other teams I don't think our prices are too bad.

Imagine paying what they do at Spurs and then also having to watch that shite every week!

I may be wrong but haven’t Liverpool had season ticket prices frozen for the last 4 seasons.
I’ll bet they are way more expensive than City season tickets.

Liverpool have a similar stadium capacity to City yet have far higher match day income. Go figure!

quality of football doesn't matter, or shouldn't. they aren't going to reduce the prices if we suddenly turn to shit so we shouldn't have to pay more just because we're brilliant.

We're a manchester based side, the cost of living is lower here than London as are wages so you cant make fair direct comparisons with teams like spurs.

You might not think they're too bad now but how many consecutive years of price hikes is that now? How many more before they do become an issue because there's no indication this won't continue year on year as it has every year since Soriano has been here.

It's the complete out of touch approach more than anything thats bothering people. These figures are probably on the upper side of estimates here but for arguments sake let's say every season ticket has gone up £30 on average and we have about 36k season ticket holders which means a price freeze this season would have resulted in about £1 million lost revenue, it barely even registers on the balance sheet and the fans would lap up the gesture. Instead, they do this. it pisses off the majority of the fanbase, Shows a complete disconnect from us and let's us all know beyond any doubt they couldn't give a shit about the fans. Is all that really worth the extra million in the bank? They'll probably spend that employing some PR firm to come up with a new version of the "footballs nothing without the fans" slogan for next season and some compilation video of the same passionate fans they're driving out.

Imagine paying that price and watching shite for 34 years, most if us did that.

Forget season ticket prices.

How much are match day ticket prices going to be next season, as they will be going up as well..

We're already at £60-£80 for a match day ticket depending on the match and where you sit. It won't be long before City end up selling £100 match day tickets.

Are those prices acceptable for a match day ticket?

Bottom line is we could well be watching the best football team on the planet. When that happens things change. We can gripe all we want, but if we don't go, there will be two or three people to take our place. Its the price of success. And in comparison to other clubs our prices are good.
Completely agree but everything goes in cycles, we won't always be watching the best football. As much as we don't like it United, Liverpool and others will in future have periods of dominance.

Pep will leave, we won't be able to attract the best players and where then do the club go to get there 62000 seats filled on a regular basis cos the hardcore who went pre 2008 and have bit by bit been pushed out of the club will be long gone and those who are clamouring now to see City v real Madrid will be to busy trying to buy tickets for Liverpool v barca in the champs league

I've had my ticket for about 10 years. In that time the club decided that they would increase the price of my ticket most years. I think it was £450 when I started and now it has just gone to £820. One year it rose by £70. I said I'd stop going when it got to £1,000. A woman near me has stopped coming as she could not afford it. She was a nurse. I suspect her wages have not increased at the same level as ticket prices. She knew a lot of people around where we sit and often gave out toffees. She could have moved to a cheaper seat but would have been alone.

My increase is £40 this year. It is not a large amount of money but the cumulative rises over the years are. Justifying spending over £800 on just me is getting more difficult.

Thing is both Madrid & the price increases are a bit of an own goal by the club... we're supposed to be #together but that only applies 100% of the time if we are happy to be squeezed just a little more.

I'll be paying around £24 next season per game plus £25-£30 fuel & either a tram ticket or having to pay to park to get to the ground. So probably no change from £60-£65 each game.

Now it was my life choice to move out of the area so I've caused the vast majority of fuel costs however, a little bit of #together from the club leaning on the council could have saved a lot of us the tram/parking prices.
