Season Tickets - 2025/26 | Changes to ticket transfer this season (p101)

Yes was an email from City, I was row D now Row 4.

Season Ticket Members will continue to enter the Etihad Stadium via the same turnstile, travel to the same level and then find their way to the same seat.

The only change will be that the numbers outside the levels, blocks and rows will be visually different.

This change is the consequence of the Etihad Stadium’s expansion and the introduction of a new single upper tier, as well as new hotel and commercial space, and the need to ensure consistency across all levels of the stadium for all fans.

Therefore, from next season onwards, the Etihad Stadium’s levels will be as follows:

Level 1 will become Level 0
Level 2 will become Level 1
Hospitality Box-Level will become Level 2
Level 3 will remain the same

I also got a letter from the club, restating what the email said.
i assumed all season ticket holders must have had one.
Perhaps you have been missed ?

This change is incredibly frustrating. I can see many older fans getting confused against Spurs or worrying they’ve gone to the wrong section. Once again, the club is spending money on something that didn’t need changing.
Even we FOC’s can remember where our seat is. On a good day. We’re fairly certain to get the level right at least. And the row now being a number rather than a letter isn’t the most confusing aspect of the modern world we have to grapple with. Of all the things to get upset about this scarcely scratches the surface.

Nobody will be getting into the wrong level, the entrance points outside will still be the same.

The issue will be the idiots looking for row numbers, they can join the 'one off' fans who can't ever work out which way seat numbers go on the rows.

***Disclaimer....last season (without a drink inside me) I was early in SS3 and sat a row higher up, same seat number. Caused a bit of faffing about nearer kick off as other ST holders had just sat down in relation to where initially I was this caused a ripple effect.

We wish to inform fans that we are updating the titles of our current level, block, and row numbers as a result of the Etihad Stadium’s expansion.

  • Level 1 will become Level 0
  • Level 2 will become Level 1
  • Hospitality Box-Level will become Level 2
  • Level 3 will remain the same
As well as complying with health and safety guidance, which recommends consistent labelling of levels as part of a stadium’s configuration, we have also received extensive feedback from disabled supporters about the current level titles, which can create confusion, especially when using the lift, as levels are not clearly identifiable.

As a result of changes to levels, the existing block numbering system will also need to be amended, as the first number represents the level. For example, Block 130 will become Block 030, and Block 230 will become Block 130. Blocks in Level 3 are not impacted.

Finally, we are also amending the labelling for rows from the current letter system to numbers stadium wide. This is primarily due to the expanded single upper tier North Stand which will include a total of 59 rows.

Again, we wish to stress that these changes will have no physical impact on the seat a fan sits in, or the way they travel to and from it. There will also be no impact on pricing as a result of the changes.

However, we understand that some fans feel a sentimental connection to certain numbers, especially their blocks, and we appreciate everyone’s understanding as we make these stadium-wide adjustments.

Should any fans have questions about what this change means to them, we encourage them to contact our Fan Support team by calling (0)161 444 1894 or by emailing mancity@mancity.com.

All our disabled supporters and over-65s will also receive a letter directly from the Club containing the key information.

You should have received 3 emails or letters (1 for each ticket )in the last month explaining the above and the reason for the changes.
You can't blame the ticket office for this one.
I've not received the emails
Therefore I can blame the ticket office.

This thing about downloading it on 2 phones does t make sense… my brother in law lives in Manchester and I live 3 hours away, I went to 12 out of the 19 games last season using my season card and he did 3, would he be able to download it on his phone? What are other people doing? I did query this on the phone with the club but the lady was adamant I couldn’t do this as it was against the rules.

Me and my brother are sharing this season due to my poor health

I have downloaded my ST to my phone and then opened up my account on his phone and added it to wallet same as mine

Both have my ST displaying on our phones so I’m hoping it will just work the same

@East Level 2 will have to change his user name!

They mustn't like you as everyone else seems to have received or seen some sort of communication from the club
The access team apologised and said several people have been in touch after receiving no email from City but noticed different block & row on their tickets.
So they must unlike a few of us.

This is our 3rd season doing just that, will work fine unless your brother gets there before you for the derby :)

It is against the rules. But we’re still doing it whilst we can. My son has his season card on his phone and I also have it on mine.

When you go to ‘tickets’ on the App, it takes you off the app and opens up a window on the website. Does on mine anyway.
Didn’t work on the app for us (2 different SCs/phones), clicking on the ticket tab just came up with “no tickets to show” or something similar. Worked fine via the website.

@East Level 2 will have to change his user name!
No chance young Phil. I kept using "east" when I sat in the CB stand for a couple of seasons and I'll keep it now.
It's the second tier, whether the club believe that or not. - I'll change it if Pep tells me to, but not on the word of a 21st century Bernard bloody Halford.

I can see some of our really old fans turning up at Maine Road due to all the confusion.
