Don’t know whether they are correct or not

Well that was interesting. Just the amount of decisions made and the percentage difference between PL and other leagues. Wouldnt a more in depth stat be more revealing if it showed certain clubs had the benefit of these decisions.

They look at every goal for offside here and there has been almost 800, every penalty an red card too. They are only counting the slow decisions whe the game stops for over a minute by the looks of it.

How has this thread went so off topic from SC packs to people talking about personal situations to refunds to the outlook on next season?

can we start a different thread on whether you are renewing or not?

As for the pack...I have used the leather wallet and laptop bag in recent years. Did some of the city matters group not attend a meeting about these a few months back..?

Rather than start a new thread I thought I'd repurpose this one.

I couldn't give a rats arse what's in the renewal pack but ordinarily we would be getting near to renewal time. There are lots of complicating factors for all clubs currently as there is no clarity if the season will be completed and if it is will spectators be allowed. As it seems almost certain that even if the season is finished there will be no spectators so a rebate needs to be applied for renewals. It then gets more complex if spectators still aren't allowed at the beginning of next season.

Many people will find their financial situation is in a far worse state than previously once the government job retention scheme has stopped as many companies will either have shut completely or cut their workforce. You would imagine the club will have to get very creative to ensure 40k plus seasoncars are sold and for starters they should forget about the annual price hike they seem so fond of. If there is no certainty that spectators will be allowed into games say for the rest of the year then who would actually invest in a SC?

You can blame me for changing the topic to SC renewal but not for the rest of it :)

It looked like it had run its course as a discussion about what would be in the pack so I thought a discussion about how / when / if SCs will be renewed would be appropriate.

I honestly can't see how any club can ask people to commit to something like a season ticket at this time. I'd be amazed if any game is played with a crowd this side of Christmas.

I reckon it will be a tiered approach at one point allowing a small crowd (who pay the most) and then increasing over time how many people can watch depending in other metrics.

September 1000 fans , October 5000, November 10k, Deccember 20k etc

I can see an away fan complete bad for a season when it starts up, and not selling tickets to long distance fans would help too.

The first thing you need to know is what you are buying a ticket for ?
At this time, how could MCFC sell a ticket not knowing how many fixtures , when, if crowds are allowed etc.
I guess we just have to wait until things become more clear ....

I've no idea how they will go about it mate they can't make any plans while nobody knows any timescale for the lockdown and how long things will take to improve.

One thing that should happen is that any fan can take a year sabbatical without losing their seat or any kind of penalty.

Ok, back on topic. I like the packs, they bring a little bit of joy to my mundane life. The postman hates them, dont know if this is because hes a red or the weight.
