Seat Counters - 2022/23

Why are you beating yourself up about the attendance?

There was still 51,000 with segregation according to you.

Once again, FA Cup 3rd round and Friday night.

Bar the Rags tonight, was there any higher attendances in the 3rd round of the FA Cup?
I'm not beating myself up about it, I'm raising a valid point.

You've stated all remaining PL games are virtually sold out which is great. However, means people like me and many others can't buy an extra ticket to take a child or whoever but when you get to the game the seat in front or 2 away from you is empty!
Those that go every game like me know this and it's fuckin annoying tbf.

I'm gonna be a C**t and say what I see.

All these games that are sold out, why are there empties dotted around?

Last night the seat in front of us empty and 4 on our row, empty, I'm sure they were sold but we must have the largest number of fans who pay for a ticket and don't turn up!

There were 2 large groups of seats that were empty in the Family Stand last night, but try buying a ticket and you can't as none available.

It baffles me but importantly gives ammunition to the pisstaking none City fans.
I would guess at

1.Season ticket holders who couldn't make the game
2.Seats which touts/tourists boards/whoever have been unable to shift
3. People buying tickets in order to reserve a seat, and then deciding whether to go later

I understand your frustrations completely, I can never take my lad cause the seat next to me is taken by a season ticket holder who shows up 5 games a year

It’s only important if you allow yourself to care about what a bunch of weirdos on Twitter who probably couldn’t pinpoint England on a map, think about it.
You like jrb are missing my point.
I couldn't give a fuck what anyone says about anything and I give as good as I get but when I am unable to buy a ticket to take my lad cos none are available only to see empties in our stand it becomes annoying.

My point is we seem to have a load of fans that buy but don't go, that is fucking weird.
Had a discussion with a bloke earlier today who admitted he is on the FA Cup scheme but couldn't be arsed going last night, don't think he went to round 3 either, complete madness!

There was the odd gap in 114.

Been shifted from 315 into 114 the last 2 games and both times I've relocated next to my lad a row below where there's been 2 empties next to him once the game kicked off.

Now it could be someone who couldn't make both the Chelsea & Arsenal game but they weren't the only spares in sight.

The seats in the family stand were filled 10-15 minutes in.

Happens everywhere. You’re just conditioning into finding it a problem when it’s City.

I often wonder whether it's due to them giving away so many points for joining these cup schemes. Imo the cup scheme should be there for convenience, and we shouldn't be using points to bribe people into joining the scheme. Thus you end up with a situation like this where loads join the scheme for the points, but are not actually arsed about going to the games unless it suits them
