I'm amazed that nobody has come up with the obvious solution which is to have the teams play at different times with maybe two hours between our game finishing and theirs starting.

Yes and that travelling together is fucking disgusting and will completely destroy the atmosphere. Whenever I've been in a derby day stadium (last one was Burnley v Blackburn) I've wanted to kill each and every one of the fans in that end and every player. To the point where I got escorted out of the stadium for abusing Dunn at the corner flag. If every fan treated a derby like that then there would be a chance they could be restored to what they once were. You can tell it won't be a passionate derby if fans are willing to walk hand in hand down wembley road. It wouldn't happen with Cardiff v Swansea. It wouldn't happen between Burnley and Blackburn. It wouldn't happen between West ham and Millwall. It wouldn't happen between Leeds and anyone. From what I've seen this season there are too many fair weather supporters at CoMS and going off some of the posts here it looks like some want to carry that through to wembley.

there will be 32,000 of us at least and have you seen the blokes in the City crowd?! yes there will be minor incidents and the idiots can find each other for a brawl as usual....but don't be put off, most Blues will take no shit even if they're not young enough or daft enough to be dishing out without good reason, and will look out for other Blues as well

Another IMPECCABLE day is called for. Don't sing songs about you know what and if you do then you deserve anything you get. Wear your colours, and support your team with pride as always and have a great day out

I actually think that this fixture has the potential to improve relations between both sets of fans.....or the bulk of them anyway

Chances are we will be facing them again in the final stages of comps for a long time to come. We'd better all get used to it even if there will never be any love lost between us

Simply walk along the police cordon and fences afterwards near the coach parks after a risk game. Then you may see that trouble is a chant or one fans abusive shout away.

All it will take is ONE red to shout some anti city abuse or blue to shout the M word and that will be it.

Hand in hand my arse. No-one wants the heated rivalry to disappear. But most real supporters want to try and enjoy the day out without punching their way down Wembley Way to get to the game in the first place. And there will be tens of thousands mingling whatever happens. Seems that there are too many Danny Dyer wannabees around COMS now who should just do what the real hard men did back in the day and arrange to meet their counterparts for a tear up in a neutral location away from the cops and their cameras, the women and the kids, and where they can hospitalise each other to their hearts content without bothering the rest of us.

i ain't even worrying about trouble, it will get dealt with if it happens to turn up. i'm just looking forward to a guaranteed shithot friday/saturday night, hopefully followed up by an even fuckin better day out the next day (and a quick quiet get away if the worst happens)
