semi final trouble

there will be 32,000 of us at least and have you seen the blokes in the City crowd?! yes there will be minor incidents and the idiots can find each other for a brawl as usual....but don't be put off, most Blues will take no shit even if they're not young enough or daft enough to be dishing out without good reason, and will look out for other Blues as well

its exactly the same for them as it is for us....

Another IMPECCABLE day is called for. Don't sing songs about you know what and if you do then you deserve anything you get. Wear your colours, and support your team with pride as always and have a great day out

BUT, equally, take no shit and if its given without good reason then give it back in spades

I actually think that this fixture has the potential to improve relations between both sets of fans.....or the bulk of them anyway

Chances are we will be facing them again in the final stages of comps for a long time to come. We'd better all get used to it even if there will never be any love lost between us
what a clown

fuck you too :-)

want to see the potential for what we are capable of?

Simply walk along the police cordon and fences afterwards near the coach parks after a risk game. Then you may see that trouble is a chant or one fans abusive shout away.

All it will take is ONE red to shout some anti city abuse or blue to shout the M word and that will be it.

It won't be pretty.

a point that no one has posted about or even thought about is this is a diferent game than any other match held at wembley, there is no party promotion or cup to collect due to this everyone will exit the ground at the same time one set of fans will be pissed off the other set dancing around this alone is a powder keg

When we're 5-1 up the rags will all have left 15 minutes before the end. ;-)

I'm sorry but haven't any of you moved on it's 2011 when Everton fans went to Wembley with Liverpool fans we had a great time. And no, thats not because we all love each other it's because with have better things to do than pick on the odd passer by the might happen to support the opposition. All these idiots that claim all these things yet nobody can back it up, there the idiots who have caused ticket prices to be so high. Who the hell wants to be worrying about getting beat up or stabbed on their first trip to Wembley? When we went to Wembley we created a great atmosphere and it was a great day. The difference between our derby and yours is simple you lot think it's amazing that a 8 year old kid can wear the scarf of the opposition team without being beat up by a 40 year old. If people want a fight then join the fucking army. I'm sure 99% of City fans want to go to Wembley and enjoy their day peacefully and hopefully watch Tevez score in the last minute. Not see some 80 year beaten up for wearing the wrong colours.
agreed were going down for a great day out.
yes there will be banter and chants (expected)
yes it will be tasty after the game and a few scraps will probably start here and there but not many.
these games are always hyped up(but to be honest the last few derby games have kicked off big)
i expect near wembley station it will be tasty to say the least.
but all round it will be a great day and everyone will have hangover the next morning :) hopefully beat the rag twats.

it's never a friendly game against them.
no, it wont kick off massive because i think the police will have it covered.

i will be giving them grief the whole day!
c'mon blue's

Have not read every page so not sure this has been mentioned.....

If you are the Sunday game, you have to factor in the Scousers to your travel plans as they are playing Arsenal on the Sunday at the Emirates... if they are still in the Europa that game will have to take place on the Sunday.... should add a little spice to the day....

Hand in hand my arse. No-one wants the heated rivalry to disappear. But most real supporters want to try and enjoy the day out without punching their way down Wembley Way to get to the game in the first place. And there will be tens of thousands mingling whatever happens. Seems that there are too many Danny Dyer wannabees around COMS now who should just do what the real hard men did back in the day and arrange to meet their counterparts for a tear up in a neutral location away from the cops and their cameras, the women and the kids, and where they can hospitalise each other to their hearts content without bothering the rest of us.

How the fuck can anyone enjoy the day out when the most hated rivals are stood a few metres away singing 35 years and why don't city fuck off home whilst you just stand there nice and merrily. Part of the fun of a rivalry is a bit of trouble. If every game passed off with no after the game incidents it would be shit and no different to any other game. One of the reasons I love playing teams like Millwall and Leeds. Unfortunately police even clamp down on fans meeting elsewhere for a fight, so that is one of the reasons it no longer happens anymore. If it does kick-off it will be near wembley stadium. Most likely afterr the game when the losing set of fans will come out with a provacative chant.
