Offer him another contract extension.

And put a £100mill price tag on him.

That should scare Madrid and Barcelona away.

Yeah I agree that should be the first response, but got a bad feeling that due to his son living in Spain he might ask us to consider a large offer for him from a Spanish club.

Really really hope he doesn't as him and Negredo could tear this league up for years to come.
 
Just as the Spuds are learning for some players no amount of money can replace them. Even if we got £80+ million for him there is no other striker in world football I would rather have than Sergio. I really hope we can hang onto him.
