Sergio's Injury

This is team management as much as injury management. Great excuse to field Jovetic and Guidetti. Don't worry Sergio will be back in good time.
Correct,Guidetti should get a go. I'm 61 and even I could score in this side.

At a push back for the Newcastle game but can't see it. 5 away games in the next 7 but not the worst run of fixtures. Scousers obviously the stand out.

Always fear with these type of injuries whether it will derail his stunning form this season. Am I wrong in saying that it was Aguero who kick-started the goal-fest in most of our games, with either goals or assists? Till then I'm always nervous to see which City will turn up in a game..
Anyway, Hope he comes back earlier than expected and continues where he left off..

Though I'm excited to see if Jovetic or any of the other strikers will take on the mantle and continue the scoring spree..

It's confirmed - my calf injury will leave me out for at least a month. The good news is recovery work starts today! We started with therapeutic massages on the area and some bike work.I'll keep you posted. Thanks for the support!

Aguero was unlikely to feature in the 2 Cup games, so leave those aside. Should be no issue with Palace and Cardiff.

So that leaves us with Liverpool, Swansea, Newcastle, Fulham, Tottenham. I think we will beat Fulham comfortably and we have a very good record at Newcastle in recent years (bank on a Toure tour de force there). And I would think there is a good chance of him being back for the Spurs game.

So that leaves Liverpool (H) and Swansea (A) as the "problem" games. He is a real miss against Liverpool, no need to discuss further. Swansea is more interesting. They are a bogey team for us and given their penchant for passing and possession, a 4-5-1 would seem to make a lot of sense. So Silva, Nasri, Navas, Toure, Fernandinho with Milner to come in depending on how the match is going.
