I'm trying to get across to some of this lot that I'm not screaming for Mancini to get sacked tomorrow.

I also want to get an answer from people who are calling me all the names under the sun for not being particularly fond of Mancini when they will accept that enough is enough.

Ive not really seen much name calling. To me it is imperative that we get top 4 this season in light of the ffp rules although 3rd would be preferable to to avoid the qualifying rounds. What is your opinion though? You do come across as one that cant wait to see the back of Mancini and if you dont want him sacked tomorrow then maybe next week.
Mate - I want to see City successful and I don't give two hoots who the manager is. If it's Mancini then I'll be delighted. Really.

Every team gets injuries though. Why do you think he overtrains the players?
just things like that bloody hill , if i was a player I wouldn't fancy that, he seems driven by fitness training.
Kolorov and mario out for so long. Weird.

It's more weird you seem to want our players to only do training they'd 'fancy'.

Bless their little cotton socks.

Well I don't fit the criteria for calling you all the names under the sun not being particularly fond of Mancini, but I still accuse you of hyperbole. If that's OK of course?

No one is suggesting Mancini got it right today; he patently didn't. Everyone knows that. It just grates a little when people feel the need to say "I told you so...".

Especially when it's the same people who are conspicuous by their absence after we beat, say, Chelsea. I think today's result has scarcely vindicated you.

I await your next pearl of wisdom with bated breath

Really mate, you're just reinforcing my point about it being rich you questioning other people's intellect when you start using words like 'idiot'.

Read the thread 'mate'.
Note the sequence of insults
Work it out oh [cough] respected one
Someone as 'brilliant' as you will work it out I'm sure

Well I wouldnt have guessed that but ok. Make sure you come on singing his praises when we win something though.

Today was not a good day to judge him imo,we had key players missing, players returning from injury and at least one not playing in his comfortable position.

Judge the man when he has a chance to play the team and system he has assembled.

all managers - no matter who they are, have their off days (or rather their teams do)

regarding Manciti, he knows what the game is all about even if he is more of a defensively-minded manager. I don't think anyone (who matters) is going to blink for another two seasons at least, so I expect he'll be around for some time to come.

the rest is all hot air in my opinion.

I tend not to come on after games, win or lose. But today disgusted me and I reserve my right to say so.

Don't get me wrong, it goes without saying you have the right to voice your disapproval after such an abject display, as many have tonight.

But surely you equally reserve the right of those who may dispute your version of events?

Otherwise what is the point of such a forum?

and there in lies the problem with your post imo PB. You say you are disgusted rather than bitterly disappointed like most of us. To disgust is to cause loathing in somebody and your loathing of Mancini is self evident. Whilst the majority are disappointed, we hope Mancini and the team can pull it round.

Mancini will be here for the next 12 months at least CL or not. The owners have gave him a huge sum to model a squad of his own and wouldn't have done so if they didn't believe their ambitions could be fulfilled under his management. They will give him the time and probably more resources as well.

Mancini is here to stay our owners are not stupid they know full well that you cannot just get any manager and set of players and become the best team on the planet overnight it doesn't work like that.

Seriously I say we begin to judge Mancini at the end of the season when hopefully we have had a good period where he has been able to select from an injury free squad and in the way he wants them to play.
