What a performance that was. Mesmerising football. All players were magnificent, with perhaps KDB not back to his best yet, but benefitted from the game time. Also Jesus is not getting the breaks, but his team contribution is superb.

Look at our bench last night: Muric, Walker, Kompany, Aguero, Sane, Bernardo, Foden. Every one of those players would walk straight in to most Premier League sides, most top European sides, and most international squads. Imagine how demoralising it must be to have to face the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva, Rihad Mahrez, Raheem et al on the pitch, knowing that after 70 minutes, we have the option to bring some of those on. Opponents must be scared stiff when they play us.

We are truly the most blessed football fans on the planet, with the best manager, the best management team, the best owners, and the best team playing the best football.

Life is good, Blues.

Shakhtar Donetsk vs Manchester City (0-3) UEFA Ch…:

Shakhtar Boss:
"We have to admit that City were better - much better. They won in good style. Our players tried to play well and keep the ball but it was not enough to stop a team like City.

"We couldn't do much against City's quality in this game. They played superbly in the first half. We had more possession after the break but it wasn't enough to threaten such a team."

IN CONTRAST TO

Sean Dyche:
Moans and complains paying no respect to the quality of our play as he morphs into Wenger.

Everyone played well last night, even Jesus.

What people often fail to see about Jesus's game is his running off the ball. The way he took the defender to open up the space for Bernardo was pivotal to the third goal. He brings more to the team than goals, but his goals will come if he keeps getting into good positions and learns to relax a bit more.
