So we're not letting her back because she's not guilty of anything so we can't send her to prison? Sounds reasonable.They haven’t and from what I have read as a layman here, any charges brought would be difficult to prove and chances of her being found not guilty pretty good.
She knows this, her advisors know this and that’s why they now want home to face justice.
We all know she is guilty though. She has admitted it in camera and even described terror attacks as being reasonable in her mind and that the life she left for under ISIS was what she wanted as she fully supported their aims.
Denying her citizenship isn’t perfect but it’s the best way to protect the British public from someone who is a credible danger imo.
We have literally hundreds of returned IS fighters in the country yet we make an example of this one?
I'm the first to say there may be a credible threat posed by aspects of the (non) case that only the security services and home sec know, but personally I think she's just easy fodder to sacrifice to the far right islamophobes. I'm sure if we can cope with Martin McGuiness and the most dangerous IRA terrorists being on the streets for decades we can handle this.
