Specialist checking on shoulder as requested by proposed loaning club.

An insurance thing.

Another guess fbloke....

;)

Purely that my friend ;-)

If 'The Givester' is still at City on Sept 2nd assume he is not fully over the injury..........

I have a pretty good memory, and I still don't know where this fictional previous shoulder injury has come from, I watched him with Ireland for years and while he was with Newcastle he only ever missed games from the injury he got at west ham where he was left needing surgery after being hit by Harewood and a groin injury that was related to the weakness of his core from the injury I just mentioned. That's it, all of his injuries, I have no idea where this imaginary shoulder injury has come from, now I could be wrong, he might have injured it pre season one season but it never ever forced him to miss a game, Irish or Newcastle. All I can see is an injury rumour some anti Given have made up to give another reason why he shouldn't start. Now if I'm wrong, I'll put my hands up, but show me anything that suggests he had a previous shoulder injury that has had any impact on his game because I cannot remember and I have a pretty good memory and it would have most deffinetly be covered over here had it happened.

His problem is, is that he's 34 and wants to start games, unlike some City players, and what the new breed of City fans who think it's not all about the money. For old school players, not modern day brats, they want to play games more than recieve their wage, and I thought he wouldn't be begrudged that after he gave the performances he did last season.

Before the season started he said once he might consider a move if he's not picked to start, just like Hart said on numerous occasions, and no doubt Hart would probably be at another club by now, with probably most people's best wishes if he had not been selected, there hasn't been a sound from Given, and you're making presumptions, just as you are with why he went back to Munich.

Give the lad a break, surely he's done enough to get respect he deserves.

When ESPN covered the game at Arsenal in which Shay picked up the injury last April, Kevin Keegan said that Shay had had the same injury in Keegan's time at Newcastle. Obviously that's well over a decade ago, and it may well not have bothered him at all since then.

I wish Shay well. Though I'd like him to stay, I understand him wanting to play first team football. I do, though, think it's right to go for Hart as the number one simply because, having improved tremendously in the last year, he has it n him to be the City and England first choice for the next decade. Good luck to Shay, though, and if he leaves, I hope it'll be on loan and that he'll be back.

He's certainly in no position to demand a move if his shoulder has gone again!

If anything, we are left with damaged goods, the word will be out, and we will have to continue paying his wages and still bring in someone else.

Do you think Celtic or Fulham would still find use for a one-armed keeper?

We'll chuck Caceido in too!

Specialist checking on shoulder as requested by proposed loaning club...?

An insurance thing...?

Edited. You do have a habit of coming across as ITK mate, which for the uninitiated can be misleading... However the more experienced amongst us know that it's usually pure speculation. Not that that's a problem of course.

;-)

As for Shay and his alleged deal with Celtic... If it's true then that would be perfect for everyone. But if we can't get him back at short notice then wherever he goes should have to stump up the cash. IMHO.

I have always maintained I know nothing.

The people who PM and text me know loads of stuff though ;-)

I realise this is off topic but do you prefer to visit Fulham or Wolfsburg on an away day fbloke?

I wondering if there is a hidden meaning there?

I know it's an common thing to say, but I have just had a meeting with a good friend of Shay's, it's not bullturd, they are friends due to a joint business venture, and he just asked me if anything was happening with Shey in the press today as he said when he spoke with him tuesday that he was not planning on changing anything. The lad I had the meeting with is not a football man, just good friends with Shey. Now that doesn't mean he's not leaving but I would doubt it means he's going as far as Scotland

I very rarely post but Shay is not leaving now (although he would if Arsenal offered him a permanent deal). He is going to wait it out until Jan and see how the land lies.
