Without that lad between the sticks, we'd be lucky to be in mid table, never mind fourth for fucks sake.

Bullshit.

Is it?

Hes pulled off penalty saves, point blank saves, world class saves, saves that have literally won us games and gained us points where we had no business getting them. Cant be arsed to go through all the games, but Wolves (h) and penalty save against Chelski spring to mind this season - he practically single handedly won us the game against Boro (h) last season.

Embarrassing to see people jump all over him after last nights slip up.

For the amount of saves he has kept us in games, his limited ability has cost us in others.

Nowt to do with a porous back 4 and a midfield that cant seem to hold its own despite how talented they are? Thats far more of a worry for me than Shay.

We are lucky to have Shay Given, last night was his fault for there goal, I cant defend the un defendable, but he's saved us more points than he's lost us, quality goalie. Hope he's our number 1 for at least another year or two, then if we manage things correctly we'll have Hart ready to replace him then.

You'll all be wanting Dunnie back next, Villa have conceded fewer goals than anyone this season. It doesn't take much for the Witch hunt to start.

Yea it's bullshit. Although he's a good keeper he's got to up his game in a big way for me.

More to do with the inability of coming off his line, dominating his area and coming for crosses and his distribution.
