Should Alan Hansen be sacked for racism?

It's Black Barry The Rat Catcher I feel sorry in all this. And he's not even black.

Where do we stop, calling someone black is now a racist comment,i feel it is a sensitive area but im sick to the back teeth of moaning cunts like evra and ferdinand crying like a baby.
I feel we are pampering to every ethnic race just for the sake of it..
what next bans on calling folks baldie, fatty, ugly, ginger tom,and big nose..
If i was surez id boot that little ugly bastard right into the stands at their next meeting..
If i went to jamaica and they called me whitie do you think id be crying like a baby..NO BECAUSE I AM A MAN...

Well we have the word of one black man so it must be the correct and only view.

Thank fuck for that. Anyway, I am not likely to trust a thing that diuretic says as he has labelled me racist on more than one occasion, usually I report it and the thread gets binned.

so how many black men does it take to change the view of a white man talking about how a black man percieves a racist comment ?
or is his word not as good as yours

you do know what hypocrisy is dont you ?
id be quiet from now on!
You should be quiet anyway. And it would appear you haven't understood the meaning of "hypocrisy" if you think you can label me with it from this thread.

I said, I've had this very discussion with my black mates and was shocked (as I knew no better) at quite how much they disliked the term "coloured". So I am currently standing at the 3 I had this chat with at the Met against dyslexic (someone I wouldn't trust to tell me the correct year). As I put before before, not everyone will be offended by it, but why take the chance when some are?

You are really struggling with this topic aren't you.

Do you think there would be articles such as those I posted before if no one took offence? Say what you fucking like, it makes no odds to me, but don't act surprised if someone takes issue with it. I really couldn't care less. It will be you looking the twat, not me.

So people refer to "coloured people" as they are aware of (your) cut off point 30,000 years ago, after all, that is how we relate to everything.

No. The cut off point is 200,000 years ago when we were geographically isolated from mainland europe, probably millionth time I've said that.

200,000 years ago? So basically before any humans actually managed to get into what would become the island of Great Britain. By a good 150,000 years.

Gotcha.

Why don't you just give up?
The earliest human remains found in Briton date from around half a million years ago so he's well in.

no need to be abusive SWP, im not stuggling with this thread at all , im just curious how you can fight the corner of the BLACK MAN , when a BLACK MAN comes on here and says as a BLACK MAN , hes not offended and thinks its fucking childish and moronic that a BLACK MAN would be offended by being called coloured.

dont start with your " ill talk slowly for you, ill make this clear for you, ill be as simple as i can for you, you dont have the intelligence to understand" abuse. quite frankly it doesnt wash with me.

i grew up in and around a jamaican household, i know what im talking about, and being called coloured in the context of describing a coloured person is not and never will be racist amongst us fucking adults who can actually talk to our coloured freinds without thinking im talking to a coloured freind and watching what i say !!

your on a loser with this buddy i promise you

So no black people find it offensive?

How do you explain those links then?

Promise me all you want, you're wrong. Some people find it offensive or there wouldn't have been all the hulabaloo.

As for your upbringing? So what? I am guessing you are what? 41? I would say society has moved on from any which way you were brought up.

Do a bit of research old chap one of my pet subjects this is think you'll find they where found in a Sussex Quarry about the time Homo Erectus(a big lad) was evolving into Homo Sapiens(modern man) Humans and what we evolved from have been in Europe for over a million years hence the evolutionary differences in the species, animals and people evolve to suit their environments simples.

Well seeing as erectus did not evolve into homo sapien and that modern human did not evolve until 195,000 years ago IN AFRICA, then you are plainly wrong (as Damocles has already said earlier in the thread).

Unless you can provide me a source that says that HUMANS were around in the UK before 150,000 years.

I'll save you a job, you won't be able to.

It's actually quite an interesting debate this.

As one who wasnt aware that a word was considered racist, first of all I cant imagine referring to a person by the term coloured.

If someone did hear me use the term in conversation and picked me up on it I would have been apalled and embarrassed despite having innocent intentions.

I would have apologised, ensured that the injured party knew that I had no sinister intentions, and I probably would have sought to educate myself on the issue.

Unless I was a Liverpool footballer in which case I would have got my mates to wear T shirts, blamed everyone apart from myself and refused to acknowledge that I might have done something that upset someone else.
