Should there be international football at this stage of the season?

I quite like international breaks to be honest, as I like following the qualifiers around the world.

I am a bad person because I would not miss international football if it didn't exist. I certainly think it needs to be severely pruned as there are far too many of these disruptive breaks

I can remember in the early '70s, fixtures carried on, when internationals were played. If a club had players in the England team, they had to suck it up and get on with it.

Yes, and 24 in the top division too I think? Football did actually seem to stop in those days though after the fa cup.

22 in top two divisions; 24 in Divisions Three and Four.

Fuck no. There's to much international football, and its diluted by utter dross. The San Marino's, Luxembourg etc should have their own comp, with just one or two who qualify to play the better teams.

Correct. I too remember this which seems odd now.
