Nike are the preeminent athletics brand in the world. It's good for City to be wearing their gear, however the commercial team made an embarrassingly poor deal before and need to rectify it. Either buy out the rest of the years and force a renegotiation or offer the kit deal to another manufacturer. With that being said, it's of no use to opt for anyone who isn't a top brand on a global scale. In 2016, Umbro is an absolutely nothing company and City would not benefit from them at all even with funny money potentially involved.

mayeb so, but the majority of nike kits are awful. and in recent years umbro have been great.

Those 2009/10 kits from Umbro were perfect. Nike haven't produced one away kit actually relevant to our away colours in the 4 years they've made our shirts.

I'd be happy sticking with Nike if fans were engaged with what we would be wearing.
I haven't bought a shirt for many years now, last one being Umbro.

No issues with Nike, its just I ain't paying for that template shite that's served to us as if we are second class "citizens" and would wear any tat.

Keep buying it, I guess the kids love these shirts. It ain't for me.
 
I've had two many football shirts go to shit after 3 washes to buy any of them any more. I'm not paying £60 for something that struggles to last a season.
