Spot-on. Too much political virtue signalling in football these days. Silences used to mean something and rarely happened at big events.Remembrance Sunday and your own players and that's it, Royal family, wars/conflicts abroad and other teams players can do one.
It’ll only get worse from now on.It happened on Saturday against Brighton , the minutes silence for both Israel and Palestinians victims was interrupted by some prick in the South Stand shouting "free palestine" think himself lucky he wasnt near me and why didnt the stewards do something ? He should have been removed an banned
For Eastlands it is more of many arrive dead on time and no anouncements are made in the concourse or stewards telling people, so as we have a silence those entering can be heard.More and more people are immune to shame these days, so don’t care about disturbing silences etc when there’s a TikTok to be filmed.
where in thr SS, couldn't have been level one as us in 119 heard nothing, though a wail was heard from the east stand at the endIt happened on Saturday against Brighton , the minutes silence for both Israel and Palestinians victims was interrupted by some prick in the South Stand shouting "free palestine" think himself lucky he wasnt near me and why didnt the stewards do something ? Don't politicise football. Why should Wembley arch be lit up for Israel/Palestine? What about the suffering in Burma, Africa, anywhere ? Leave politics to the politicians.
Why clap a dead person you don't know ?
Why criticise 6 Blues for singing a song on a concourse? Isn't jelly and ice cream just as offensive ? How many BM posters criticised those Blues but post about celebrating GPC dying ?
Let's turn up, watch a match, go home. (Preferably when the final whistle has gone)
in 115 near the front row 5 , i could hear it clearly after about ten seconds of the silence,a couple of the stewards were looking into the crowd but didnt try to find himwhere in thr SS, couldn't have been level one as us in 119 heard nothing, though a wail was heard from the east stand at the end
