You'll sell shirts in America, and you'll get a lot of American fans. And he'll be a decent squad player if he's willing to be....which is the key if this goes down.

That is what I was about to say, of course we are trying to win, but this is also a business and merchandise and tickets sold obviously generates large cash flow. Sporting is a type of entertainment, and entertainment is all about putting butts in seats, I know this because I was in the business for 3 years at my previous job.

That said, Silva aside, Donovan is probably about even with Adam Johnson and a step ahead of Bellamy and SWP amongst our wingers. Also, Donovan can play up top and in a central attacking as well as both wings so he is very versatile. Would be a good move in my opinion both business wise and football wise. He brings decent leadership as well.

landon carried the usa team, probably wouldnt be a bad addition
