The one thing I am looking forward to is Yaya against scholes, scholes looked good against us in the cup cos he didnt have to cope with Yaya and he knows he cant, if anyone goes back to the FA cup semi final scholes did something in that game that I have never seen him do, he let Yaya run past him he let him go and wanted no part of him because he knows damn well he cant cope with him, there is not a player in that midfield that can cope with him and if Yaya wants to he can dominate them just like feillani did yesterday.

Why would you have Aguero behind Tevez. It simply MUST be the other way around. Have you not seen Aguero on the shoulder of the last defender recently? His movement and runs are unstoppable, Tevez doesn't have as much pace to pull away from defenders, but he does have the vision and passing ability to release others. When we don't have the ball, Tevez should press Scholes at every opportunity and not let him have time on the ball in that deep position he likes to play. It should either be Tevez or Yaya behind Aguero, depending on whether we play both Nasri and Silva, or just one of them.

Let's be honest, one of the reasons we smashed trafford so badly was Silva. He was brilliant, many were saying among the top 5 best players in the world. He had a hand in virtually all of those goals.

Now he can't complete a 5 yard pass. No idea what's going on with him, but he's not been sharp at all. The speed of his thinking and reactions, the accuracy of his passing, everything seems to have fallen off.

The world seems to think that since we beat them so badly away, that we'll surely win at home. But I'm not seeing it without Silva returning to his early season form.

What happened to him? Do you think the old Dave will return?

Have you not watched him since we came back on song, he has been back to form, a world class talent!

He had pretty bad game yesterday

He wasn't a standout but his movement and use of the ball was much better and he took on defenders with ease like he did 3 months back

Silva was taken off yesterday for a reason...he was playing poorly and we were struggling at that point in midfield. When De Jong came on things changed in midfield and we looked much better and started to control the game again. Personally I think Tevez has been giving us the creativity that we've been lacking since Silva went off the boil with the important bonus of banging in a few goals at the same time.

Fuck me,he has been fantastic this season and people are looking for answers why he hasn't performed 150% each game...Fatigue I am afraid..but I have no doubt that merlin will be fired up for Monday night.....

Silva overhits a lot of the simple through-balls he used to complete with ease. I believe he has been tired but he didn't look good yesterday or look at his best against Norwich (A good performance (nonetheless). He benefits from a rest and in the middle of the season. I believe Silva should have been given a couple of weeks just to rest and hopefully get back to his best. I say start him for at-least 50 minutes and depending on his performance during the match, sub him or let him influence the game.
