what happens if flamini is signed for the rb position.....we will still need to buy a midfielder in my opinion especially since i dont think mancini likes 442 and he wants 3 central mids...we need to give barry a break and de jong needs to just sit in front of the back 4..

i never wanna see zab at rb again tho this i am sure

hopefully we make alot of room of these bad signings and lazy players.. the santa cruz, robinho, zabaleta, petrov, benjani even tho he tries..he isnt that good...maybe we should look into n'zogbia fom wigan!
RAGS ALERT!

Kompany, De Jong, and Vieira will be the three midfielders he will use, mixing them up with Ireland and Barry (after his op)

I hope not. we need Ireland in if we are playing 3 in mid. He should be frist name on sheet when fit. In a man mid he is only one who can pick a quality pass.

Thought thats what I said Danny, maybe I didnt phrase it right

well barry does need a break i think he is carrying a slight injury and we are overworking him

de jong is only good when he plays in front of the back 4..when hes in the 442 only thing he can do is pass the ball back

robinho is lazy and innefective and he does not care. petrov is also lazy.. good at some times but mostly i just notice his lazyness

santa cruz horrible buy, always injured...benjani is not good enough for us..and zabaleta is a very bad player..hes is a player that can lose you a game by himself

Fair enough mate. It just looked to defensive and I think we may need to keep Kompany at the back. I do think we played out best football last year with Kompany in the holding role and really missed him when he was injured. Lets hope he can keep fit and get a good run of games under his belt.

but hahaha the arse-nil fans are gutted

So if Mancini makes a permanent signing this window, everyone will agree that he's here to stay? I doubt it. They'll say it's all Marwood. They see what they want to see (and they're still pissed off that the club made them look stupid by getting shot of Hughes).

As i say mate, i dont disagree with you. I certainly dont think Mrawood has the clout that others believe on here.

But Mancinis future and the deal that was struck is something that needs a 'once and for all' type clarification from the club.

Personally i believe Mancini can attract a whole host of players and with the wages on offer at City, i will be very surprised if a couple of long-term players are not bought in before the end of the window. If it is only loan till the end of season type players coming in, then his future will be a constant target of discussion.

I think we will make at least one permanent deal this window and I think Mancini is a big draw for players and is here to stay (results permitting).

But I have to respectfully disagree on the club making a statement. They can make all the statements they like but it won't stop fans thinking what they want to think. We've had enough statements on Robinho staying at the club from everyone (Khaldoon, Cook, Hughes and Robinho himself) and it has not ended the speculation over his future one bit. Cook could wave a 10-year contract for Mancini in front of the SSN cameras and some bake would be on here straight away talking about the dreaded vote of confidence and linking to a youtube of Neville Chamberlain.

Ordinarily i never see much benefit in the club justify anyones position, it can change at the drop of a hat.

But where i believe a lot of blues struggle on this one is that it was on the back of that fuck-up of a press conference when Bob got the job. 6 months + 3 years? 3 and half years? Its not a vote of confidence that is needed, its clarification that if Mancini gets us that top 4 finish then he will be here next season regardless of Jose knocking on the door at the end of his Inter tenure.
