Sky TV Going Up To £107 a month for multiroom.****Update***** Page 6.

Currently we pay £64 increasing to the same £107 mentioned by the OP, so our cancelation has now been tendered. Fast forward three days and the haggling's already begun with a price cheaper than what we are paying now.

The offer as per our mail shot is £37 plus Multiroom at £10 and the HD at £4 and the Ultra HD at the £6 so grand total of £57 for an opening broadside.

Things must be getting quite tetchy down at Sky HQ and I would imagine the cancelations are arriving by the bucketful in this economic climate. I nearly spat my tea out this morning when I saw upmarket Sainsury's advertising an Aldi price match and so in the immortal words of Bob Dylan .. the times they are a changing!

Anyway for folk still wishing to use the Sky service this gives a ballpark of where to pitch for upcoming subscriptions.

Firesticks have really come of age with the advent of the new Max Ultra 4k. A great shame we had to pay the full whack @£54.95 and goes against the grain of our pensioner mentality(c). Still having sleepless nights with hot sweats but remain in the market for another one if we see a deal.

couple of weeks ago i saw them for 39.99, i thought i'll nip to argos in the morning, fuckers had upped em to 54.95 next day

I'm on BT
56 - 63 mbps plus sport at £12 pcm (worth it just for CL)
Total £36.82
Took bt sport in 2010 for one month for the resumption of the league and CL, then cancelled. Took bt sport at mother's house in Feb 21 for one month and cancelled.

In both instances the only services removed were box nation and the non hd sports channels. Have had free hd sport on both since.

Might be worth trying at the end of the season.
